Modestine

he Modestine family are synevives in Marn. They are a significant family.

The Modestines have been known as the patrons of Marn alongside the Malatrast family, having spent much time and money among the lower classes enriching the city. They were not particularly political, and were fairly well liked across the board. Of course, the widespread deaths through the family has put them into extreme turmoil. Should any more of them die, it is likely they have a hard time recovering. Politically, their voice is small, but they have recently embraced strict traditional views, and have received overtures from the Vincas and Oslun families -- purely in solidarity for their losses, of course.

The family is quite small now, and as a result of the tragedy they have pulled closer together.
