Vincas

he Vincas family are descendants of first settlers in Marn. They are a politically significant family.

With the head of the family working as a second generation judge and the longest serving judge in Marn's history, the Vincas family has a lot of political sway; they have rarely chosen to make use of it. They tend to be a quiet family, rarely attending public functions other than regular trips to the temple. They are traditionalists, following the laws exactly as they were written, as they helped to write a number of them. They were responsible for disbanding the Hunters (precursors to the battlemages) and helped to usher in a new age of acceptance for the other races.

While many believe that the old judge has become more lenient in his advanced years, the truth is he has always preached rehabilitation over incarceration of minor offenders, he just now has the power of seniority to work in his favor whenever the decision goes up for a vote. For obvious reasons, he regularly butts heads with Judge Moryldar.

The Vincas family is a small family, and known to act rather conservatively. They stay away from any and all scandal, and tend to be well liked among the greater populace for their dignity. Judge Vincas is the head of the family and does try to reconcile with any family members who do act outside the family norm.

Their primary ally is the Oslun family. Their primary enemy is the Moryldar family.
