Oslun

he Oslun family are descendants of first settlers in Marn. They are a politically significant family.

If any of the descendants can be considered to be honorable and law abiding, it would have to be the Oslun family. With Thomnas Oslun as the High Constable of the City Guard, the rest of the family maintains a moral appearance, giving them their reputation. While they are not squeaky clean, for the most part there are very few allegations against the family, and they are known for standing up for the law whenever someone crosses a line. Still, due to their control over the guard, they have only managed to earn public enmity from Moryldar family -- largely due to the Moryldars having a judge in the family. They are more than willing to go toe to toe with Moryldar and their allies, however, as they feel it is their duty to rid the city of corruption -- no matter how uncomfortable that might make the other FSF.

The Oslun family is a small family, and relatively tight knit. While there are always members here and there over the years who fall far from the tree, for the most part Osluns will not be found within the party circuit or among the hedonists. They tend to keep the same morals as the family head, and are well known for the staunchness with which they keep their morals. The occasional son or daughter with different views or ideas are tolerated so long as they do not break laws.

Their primary enemy is the Morrington family. Their primary ally is the Vincas family.
