Ayana

yana is the rarely explored western continent west of Darleone Island and north of Tzalxochitl. It is known for its harsh landscape and mysterious creatures. Like its counterpart to the south, Ayana's governmental structure is unique and fragmented. It is an unforgiving and chaotic place where few travel to, and fewer return from.

Ayana is not controlled by a single government or group. Interspersed between vast areas of unexplored, magic-tainted wilderness are small countries and cities. The continent was never fully settled by the Eyropan Empire. Political struggles occur frequently along the coast lines, where individual groups have more resources and expand more quickly. The continent is full of mystery and magic, making it difficult to colonize properly and form stable systems.

Throughout the land mass are tribes and clans of native peoples, some more advanced than others. While trade does exist between Darleone and Ayana along the eastern ports, the trade routes between populated areas of Ayana are few and poorly maintained. Large, monstrous creatures like dragons still roam freely, making travel dangerous.
