History - Ezekiel was captured by an evil being named Azahin who wanted to take over the world by creating monster armies out of humans. He was held in a cell in an underground prison with hundreds of others. There was a spell put on all of them blurring their memories. All of their names were given to them by Azahin's lackeys. They just ate, slept, and were trained in hand-to-hand combat in Azahin's hell. Ahazin needed hundreds because most of his prisoners would not survive the procedures that were meant to make them super soldiers. Somehow, Zeke and his cellmates survived the procedures. He escaped with the help of his four friends but one of them did not make it out with the rest and was killed. His friends were Adam, a very large man who Ahazin had made able to grow even larger to nearly twenty feet high, David, who was average size and was made to manipulate electricity, magnetism and metal, and Brian, who was slightly taller than David and was granted the power of precognition. They stayed together for a time but because he was cursed with a reptilian body Zeke felt he could not remain. David used his power to create a sword and sais for Zeke so he could defend himself and perhaps survive to return. He left on a journey to nowhere in search of really nothing having nothing to with himself but practice with the weapons Dave had given him. Later he met Maggie, an infinitely kind old woman who took him into her house. She brought out the human in him. He is well spoken(at least after he learned to speak with his new mouth) and respectful. He is very patient but he does have a breaking point. When he gets angry he gets scary. His patience goes very quickly when dealing with those he believes to be evil. He cannot deal with vampires, witches and the like. Although he will tolerate those who choose to use magic.
Appearance - Ezekiel is a lizard man. He has large clawed hands and feet and a long thick tail that has a scythe blade coming from near the tip. He has rough, thick green skin. He has a snout with a mouth full of sharp teeth. None too long but hard to speak through. The rest of him looks human. Human arms and human legs. A large human chest and brown human eyes although they are hidden in a mostly reptilian face they are the window to a human soul. He would look intimidating and put you on edge until you looked into his face and found the eyes that revealed his intention, that is merely to live and to work and to be. He normally wears a faded brown vest and brown pants. Maybe they were brown originally, maybe Zeke doesn't like doing laundry. We may never know. He has a large sword that separates to 3 points at the end. It hangs from a hook strapped to Zeke's shoulder.
Abilities - Being a lizard man Zeke has some abilities that a normal human would not posses. He can regenerate but this is limited. In the middle of a fight he can only be expected to heal small wounds. But in a comfortable bed he can regrow a limb overnight. Ezekiel's hearing is slightly below average. He has enhanced speed and strength. He can run at nearly 40 mph and under optimum conditions can press 600lbs. Also during his time with Maggie she taught him her beliefs and he was converted to Christianity. Due to his strong faith he has incredible resistance against magic but cannot learn any because it is an abomination.
Equipment - Zeke the Lizard Man always has a canteen and a sack of dried food with him. Zeke uses a wide sword that separates to 3 points at the end. It is made from many different metals bound together by an unknown force. He keeps four sais on his belt made of the same material. His tail has a curved scythe blade near the tip. He keeps a thick leather sheath to cover it when he has to check his weapons. Let's give him a wallet too. Dude's gotta eat.

Greetings. I have no major problems with this character but there are a few things and suggestions. I believe ming is contacting you via yahoo to talk about it, so I'll let her handle that.
With regards to the religion though, I think you should change that. Not because I have a problem with characters being any particular religion, but just because Pal Tahrenor is a unique world so there probably wouldn't be a catholic church as we know it. Christianity, sure. Monotheistic religions based on a saviour who sacrifices himself for ordinary men were actually common in ancient times, and perhaps the cross is a universal symbol. But not catholicism as such. The dark ages on Pal Tahrenor would have been quite different from our own.

Well, it would have been a PM not an email, since both ming and myself have the instant messenger. It's not the character design, per say, that I think needs some discussion. It's just that I think you should try fleshing it out more. This board's focus is on writing as much as it is on the game, so don't be afraid to take criticism or sit down and write up/proof read some things.
You should try fleshing out his history and his personality more. What you've put down is a decent overview and the ideas are there, but there's not much character to it and little detail. Zeke needs a way to have ended up in Thar Shaddin, which is really in the middle of buttfuck nowhere. Either on his way somewhere, or trying to hide from someone, or looking for something. The history of thar shaddin might provide some ideas for that.
His physical description could have more detail as well. It doesn't say what colour his skin or eyes are, how well he is at grooming. Is he more frightening or more friendly looking? These are all things you should include when you write in your posts.
Bench pressing 1000 lbs is too extreme. Lower that to 700, which still makes him stronger than the strongest man alive I think.
Take out catholicism, just leave it as christian for now. I have yet to make up descrptions of the major religions on pal tahrenor.
