BASIC INFORMATION

The Marn Restoration Committee, headed by Lady Navarre, consists of several nobles dedicated to purging Marn of its undesirable elements and promoting the government's agenda. Vesurian Mansion, the ancestral home of Navarre's father, Lord Vesurian, serves as the committee's base of operations, although it occasionally meets at the homes of other members.

These nobles are pouring their bishani into a campaign to demonize various parts of Marn's population. So far, their campaign has primarily utilized propaganda posters, flyers, and motivational speakers. The government itself has yet to publicly recognize the committee, but it has privately expressed its approval to Lady Navarre through a representative.

The committee oversees a recently-formed organization known as the Gardening Force, which serves as an unofficial city patrol and neighborhood watch. It counts anyone who gives their name in support of the campaign as a member, so it presents itself as far larger than it actually is. Many of its members are paid to report citizens as potential insurrectionists.

The emblem of the Marn Restoration Committee is a crimson flower with razor-like petals and leaves set against a black background; the emblem of the Gardening Force is a crimson coat of arms bearing a crossed sword and trowel, also set against a black background.

Lord Modestine

Age: 42 (Deceased after The Doctor is In thread)

Modestine was one of the founding members of the Marn Restoration Committee. Once a cheerful and extroverted man, he became lifeless and withdrawn after his family was murdered by insurrectionists. He dedicated himself to avenging them and allowed Navarre to use his bishani to further the committee's agenda. He was an overweight, well-dressed man with blond hair and childlike facial features.

Navarre disposed of him after his wealth ran dry and blamed his death on the insurrection.

Lord Alexander Marquelis

Age: 67

Lord Marquelis is a retired professor and scholar who serves as the committee's treasurer. He is a tall, pale, gray-haired man who wears glasses and dresses in dark robes. During his time at the University, he had a reputation as a stern, yet fair teacher. Strangely for a nobleman, he currently lives in Shim. He was once a friend of Madelynne Vendeleur, one of Navarre's previous identities. His son Ashleigh leads the Gardening Force.

Alexander is the only person in the committee who knows Navarre's true nature, which she revealed to him shortly after meeting with Battlemage Ryxa. As her closest friend and strongest supporter, he would take her secret to the grave.

He was also acquainted with Lord Vesurian's family, so Navarre relies on him for guidance on maintaining her charade as Vesurian's daughter Isyrion.

Lady Lorenna Abernathy

Age: 24

A sweet, yet ignorant and misguided noblewoman who genuinely believes the committee's propaganda. She is a pretty young woman with a thin build, curly blonde hair, and blue eyes. Abernathy doesn't have much of a reputation herself, but her parents are wealthy printers and encouraged her to join the committee in order to make a name for herself.

Abernathy herself is largely unimportant, but Navarre relies on her parents to print the committee's propaganda. She was the first noble to join Navarre after Modestine.

Lord Matthias Calder

Age: 35

Matthias is Navarre's publicist who authors the committee's publications. Navarre initially hired him as the uncredited author of her propaganda, but later promoted him to her publicist and gave him a seat on the committee after she decided she needed professional assistance. He is a charming, handsome man with messy brown hair, green eyes, and freckles. He dresses in fancy suits and has a businessman-like air about him.

He has no interest in the committee's goals and only works with Navarre for the experience and status benefits. Matthias doesn't contribute bishani to the group, but rather intelligence: the snitches in the Gardening Force report to him, and he often charms information out of fellow nobles.

Gardening Force Members

Sir Ashleigh Marquelis

Age: 22

Ashleigh is the commander of the Gardening Force. He is a former member of Marn's City Guard and only serves the committee out of respect for his father. In actuality, he believes the government is deeply flawed and sympathizes with the insurrection. Although he thinks the rebellion makes some good points, he would never betray his father by admitting so publicly. He is a handsome, muscular young man with short brown hair.

He believes that Navarre is mentally unwell and does his best to avoid her.
