Name: "Wolfboy" (?)
Age: ??? Appears 16
Race: Half-werewolf (appears half-elven)
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 10 st
Physical Description:
Wolfboy appears as a youth with shoulder-length light brown hair and the same colour eyes. Pointed ears barely visible through his hair give him a half-elven appearance. He never wears shirt or shoes, revealing a lithe, muscular frame, tanned from a rugged life out of doors. Hanging from his hunting belt, apart from the scabbards for his bladed weapons, is his only item of clothing: a raggedy pair of brown leather pants, torn off at his knees, shredded and torn from being dragged through thorn bushes, with as much rips and tears as actual leather. Around his neck is a leather cord of wolves' teeth. Wolf fangs also hang from silver earrings as well as rings embedded in his otherwise-bare chest. He also has a plain silver ring through the base of his nose.
Possessions: (anything important they own or keep on their person)
His only possessions are his hunting and fishing tools: a hunting knife and hunting dagger, both bone-handled, along with a short bow, a quiver full of self-made arrows, and a fishing rod. Also, although not really a possession, he has a companion giant wolf.
Powers or Strengths: (including stuff like magic, money, martial arts, etc.):
[Shouldn't money go under Possessions? Not that he has any money anyway.] He has a natural affinity with most animals, but most significantly with wolves and other canids (dogs, foxes, etc.). He is quite agile, and can stand his own ground wrestling with his wolf companion. He also has a tendency to run on all fours, which also contributes to his increased upper-body strength. Naturally, he also has superior wilderness tracking and survival skills. Running through the woods, only the faintest sounds of leaves rustling can be heard in his wake.
Weaknesses: ( flaws, physical vulnerabilities, downsides, drawbacks, etc. This part can be tricky. )
Although Wolfboy has very little contact with other people, he has some sense of how to behave around them, though he errs on the side of being possibly too polite. He tends to avoid personal contact altogether, as he is very uncomfortable around other people. He does, however, tend to get frustrated with himself rather easily.
Also, if he attempts to wear any upper-body clothing (which he won't do), it will give him a burning sensation. (Specifically, this happens if his silver rings are covered, but he isn't prone to such experimentation.) If he attempts to wear footwear (which he also won't do), he will feel dizzy and disoriented, and of course, will lose his scouting and tracking abilities.
History: (be descriptive with your history, this is what tells us if you're capable of putting effort into your writing.)
All that Wolfboy can remember about himself is that he has always lived in the deepest part of the forest, his only companion, indeed the closest he knows to family, is his giant grey wolf companion, possibly one of the last descendants of the ancient dire wolves. In the past, however, he must have had some contact with civilisation, as he must have learned how to speak, as well as hunt, fish, and make arrows; and he must have obtained his clothing and hunting weapons from somewhere.
In actual fact, he is the descendant of a male werewolf of elven descent and a human woman, born and raised in Marn, in which he gained the rudimentary education that he has. He was raised by his mother, his father vanishing soon after his birth. His mother had always given him the impression that his father was an elf, making him a half-elf, explaining some of his physical features, most notably his pointed ears. As is typical with half-elves, he was always seen as too elvish to be human, and too human to be elvish. Once he reached adolescence, his mother gave him the silver rings that still adorn his body; the silver was an attempt to inhibit signs of his werewolf heritage. They then went to Shim to live, where he settled well into the woodland life. He started spending increased amounts of time in the woods outside Shim, where he encountered and befriended a giant wolf, his current companion. Eventually, he was spending more time in the wilds than in Shim. He did not even notice that his mother was nowhere to be found. Once she noticed his affinity for the wolves in the wilds, and particularly the giant wolf, she quietly slipped away, moving moved back to Marn before his werewolf nature would become more prominent.
With his trips into civilisation becoming less frequent and his own nature becoming wilder, also partly due to his lupine companion, he has ended up being known only as "Wolfboy" (or more commonly, "That @#*%! Wolfboy"), his original name long since forgotten, by him and by everyone else. He has since accepted the "Wolfboy" name. Eventually, his forays into the villages became rarer, until he stopped going into settlements altogether, living in a small earth cave in the deepest part of the woods. Memories of his life amongst other people faded from his mind; even his mother is now little more than a distant memory. He has no idea what a werewolf is, let alone that such creatures exist, and that he is (partly) one. He certainly does not know of shapeshifting, and if he does shapeshift, he has no recollection of doing so (though any observer would say that this is why his clothes are always in tatters).
He dislikes people in the forest, as he sees they have a tendency to destroy it, the wolf's teeth that adorn his body are a reminder of this. He had encountered a wolf pack that was cruelly slaughtered, many of their body parts taken, and teeth left in a pile. He took the teeth, along with a tatter of leather from his pants, and made the tooth necklace, also adding them to his silver piercings. If he sees someone, or a group, he will track them to determine their intentions. If they are merely passing through, he will leave them alone. However if they are on a hunting/poaching expedition, he will use his arrows to drive them away, the wolf also howling to instil fear.
Additional Notes:
I am taking advantage of the longer lifespans of elves and (presumably) werewolves to explain his extended adolescence, to the point where he has forgotten his life amongst other people. Alternatively, something (possibly some form of magic) may have been used to cause him to forget his life amongst others. I am leaving such items deliberately open, for now, to be filled in as I become more familiar with the game setting, and some of his "mysterious past" possibly reveals itself through gameplay. If you want more details, I will be happy to elaborate on any point. If the half-werewolf thing is too off-the-wall, I have no problem with rewriting him as an ordinary half-elf.

Re: "Wolfboy"
Hello and welcome to Thar.
I'd like to start out by asking for a few changes before I approve this.
First of all, I want to ask that you either remove the silver jewelry from your character or add in the weakness that wearing the jewelry causes the character great pain. In our setting shifters suffer a great deal of pain when they come into contact with anything made of silver. This pain can be anything from an allergic reaction, to a second to third degree burn, or rashes, blisters or more intense symptoms. For the most part it's assumed that anything internal, such as a piercing that breaks the skin would do more damage than something the merely comes into contact with skin.
To answer your question on money as a strength, money can be both a possession and a strength. A character with a lot of money, such as some of the government figures, have lots of money that they can use to their advantage either when trying to bribe somebody to do their bidding or when trying to buy support for their causes.
Now for your strengths, I want to point out that humanoids were not meant to run on all fours. I want you to understand that that we run much faster on two legs than four and your character would not feasibly be able to catch or run away from anybody when running on all fours. I looked it up and even the man who currently holds the world record for running on all fours still runs at only half the speed of the record holders for running on two legs. I'm not telling you that your character can't run on all fours but he would look anything but graceful when doing it.
I'd like to see some more strengths that speak to his personality and any skill he might have in hunting or fishing, as well as where h picked up these skills.
Being too polite is not a weakness. If he doesn't know how to act around humans go with that idea and let it fly. It would make much more sense if he were rude (as in having very poor manners) than it does if he is overly polite.
I want you to spend some time really thinking about this character and what challenges he faces. How does he fell about forgetting his mother and the life he had, does it scare him? Does he forget other stuff? Does he have some sort of mental or emotional disability/disorder that has caused him to forget the majority of his life? Does he think that he is a wolf (is that why he lives with them)? Weaknesses are meant to act as obstacles for your character to struggle with as they try to overcome them and grow in the process.
I would like to see more added to the history so that we can see more of who this character is as a person, I'd like to get a good feel for his personality.
Also, one of our members brought to my attention that dire wolves are not only long extinct but they were only found in the western hemisphere and would not live Thar's climate. As you only mention it once you can change it to large/giant wolf but as I've told others who have wanted large animal companions in the past, I want the animal to have realistic proportions. If we have massively oversized monster-animals living just outside a human settlement, hunting parties will form if for no other reason than to protect themselves.
You can leave a reply here when you would like somebody to read over your changes.
