Good evening everyone ! Here is my character, I hope you like him !

Name: Anthony Terrance
Age: 16
Race: Human
Height: 5'5
Weight: 106 pounds
Physical Description:

A unassuming young man, both thin and short for his age. His hair is a pale blonde, a bit shaggy and wind worn from long days in the elements. He is in possession of reasonably good looks, even though he lost his left eye in a accident when he was ten years old. His remaining eye is bright blue with a slight scar moving horizontally across his eye lid, revealing how close he had come to loosing both his eyes. His nose is slight crooked by virtue of the same accident that took his left eye. His cheeks are slightly gaunt, hinting at a lack of nutrition that plagues most small time farmers.

His skin is fair, but covered with freckles all over his arms and his face, every part of him that is exposed to the harsh light of the summer sun. His left ear has a chunk missing from the outside. Overall, Anthony looks about six years younger then he actually, possessing a boyish form and face as well as a lack of height and weight that lead many to mistake him for a child. His buid is wirey, just strong enough to lift a hoe or ax, but not enough to weild a heavy hammer or lead powerful draft horses across the fields. His attire is humble and worn, consisting of little more then burlap shirts and pants with home made leather slippers for working in the fields. He covers his left eye with a leather patch tied with a peice of string
Possessions:
Old Hunting Knife
A six inch knife with a sharp, pitted metal blade with a worn wooden handle. Used for various chores around the farm.

Terrance Family Farm

A tiny little dirt farm on the outskirts of Shim. Anthony lives there with his only living relative, his father's second cousin. The farm consists of a old log cabin with one room, a bed, a stove and a window. Anthony's room is in the high loft of the barn where he sleeps on a mat of straw covered with a burlap sack. He eats with his cousin, but most of his time is spent in the fields or in the barn with the mule and cow. The farm produces a meagre amount of cotton each year, enought to keep some food on the table

Ole Maybelle

The dairy cow, the sole provider of nutrition and nourishment on the farm. A even tempered, affectionate old thing, she has a few years under her belt though she is still producing enough milk to keep her humans going.

Grouchy Jack

The surly ass that pulls the plow and cart into town now and then.

Powers or Strengths:

Forestry
Anthony has intimate knowledge of the forest surrounding the farm and has spent many a night sleeping under the stars. As such, he has a modest command of surviving in the woods and could survive on his own for extended periods if need be.

Weaknesses:

"One Eyed."
The loss of his life eye severely limited Anthony's ability to see. He cannot see things approaching from his left side and could easily be taken by surprise by a reasonably stealthy assailant.

"Slight Stature."
Anthony is lacking in physical height and strength. He is able to perform every day tasks around the farm, but lack of proper nutrition and overwork has taken its toll on him. While he is young and there is still potential for growth, he fears that he will never get any higher then five foot seven at this rate.

"Dirt Poor"
THe farm brings in just enough money to keep food on the table and the seeds and feed for the next seasons crop and his cousin's next jug. There is nothing else left for extras on the farm

"Alocholic Cousin ."
A rare, but serious trait attainable only by high levels of bad luck and bad genetics. This trait grants the weilder one alcoholic cousin who leeches every spare coin and transforms it into corn liqour for, not a drop of it for you.

History:Originally born in the city of Marn, Anthony spent the first five years of his life in a decent house in the suburbs with his mother and father who longed for the freedom and simplicity of living in the country with their own small farm.

At the age of five, his parents had finally saved up enough money to purchase a charming little college and a few acres of land in which they wanted to plant corn and wheat, which were always in high demand inside the city. The happy family moved to their new farm to live in quiet contentment. However, the peace was not to last. One night, Anthony's father went outside to check on a disturbance outside in the barn. He came in to see that a pair of unusually large wolves had broken into the barn and killed a cow. The wolves immedeatly attacked his father, killing him in seconds. While the first wolf enjoyed a bit of fresh human, the other ran towards the house as Anthony's mother opened the door to check where her husband had gone. She had no warning, the wolf charged her, killing her with a bite to the neck.As Anthony's mother fell back, the lantern she was holding flew from her hand, shattering and setting the house aflame. Young Anthony woke at the noise and came out to see a large wolf dragging his mother out of the burning house.

The burning house attracted the attention of the Terrance's neighbors who were about a mile away. The wolves, having two humans and a cow to eat did not bother with the tiny wailing child, but dragged their kills into the woods away from the flames. The house was fully engulfed in flames by the time that the neighboring famers arrived. Little Anthony was walking around the yard, crying loudly, not sure of what was going on.

He was taken in by one of the wealthier farmers until his second cousin was found. He agreed to take the young child out of memory of his father, whom had paid him a great favor once. Anthony grew up working very hard under the half drunk tutalege of his uncle. Life passed, one day the same as the last until, five years later, the second life changing calamity hit the already unfortuanate Anthony. It was harvest time, Anthony and his cousin were loading very heavy bales of cotton onto the old cart. Anthony was hooking the bales onto a very old wire pully system, the wires rusted long ago. In a effort to get done before dark, Anthony was instructed to try to load a extra load bale of cotton. As the bale was swung out, the extra weight caused a taut wire to snap. The jagged end whipped across his face, breaking his nose and shredding his left eye before taking a chunk from his ear. The doctor arrived three hours later to do what he could for the agony stricken lad. Anthony very nearly died from infection, but he managed to hang on with one less eye and scars.

The lad managed to move on with his life, able to do most of the things that he was able to before. Life has gone on much as it had before, eeking out a living crop by crop with no sign that anything would ever change for better or worse.

Welcome to Thar and thank you for submitting a character.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you but I have not been feeling very well these last few days and this is the first time that I have had the chance to read your character. Now about your character, I do like it, however there is one thing I want to address about him. You have your character at 5'5" tall and 95lbs, I know he is only 16 but at that age he should weigh much more even if he is underweight. I, myself am a female of 5'0" and I am considered slightly underweight at 100lbs. Here's a height and weight chart for boys.

The only other concern I have is the username you have picked for your account. One of the few rules we have here is that your account name has to be somehow related to your character. Preferably we would like it if your account name was something along the lines of Anthony or Anthony Terrance, but we will let you decide what you want the name to be. When you do decide, you can send a PM to Frug and let him know and he will change it for you.
