Physical Description:Slender woman with dark long hair and a fair complextion. Deep satin eyes that fade when she enters and 'episode'.
Powers: She is a seer in Keltaris although at this stage in her life has apparently no control over her powers. She simply experiences moments of highentened power when she receives visions of the past, present, and on occasion, the future. When these episodes occur her eyes darken and appear to drain the colour and life from her surroundings. Visisons she has are not like regular memories after the espisodes that they occur in have past, they are different. She is able to share these special memories with others if she wishes although the process is quite painful. She can possibly use this as a means of defence or weapon if she finds herself in danger, not lethal by any means, but to the normal person, quite dehabilitating during the process and for several seconds thereafter. With most people finding themselves rather stunned or dazed by the process.
Strengths. Her visions give her meaning in her life. She feels compelled to answer the questions they raise and feels the need to understand them more, it is the driving force in her life.
Weaknesses: She has lived a sheltered life and knows little ways of the outside world aside from the many books she reads to attempt to compensate for this. Physically quite weak due to lack of outside freedom, little need for defensive teachings so has not learned ways to fight or hold arms.
History:
Daughter of a the Baron Turel'Annan Dias, Kel has lived a very sheltered and quite life. However, during the onset of puberty her entire would would tear apart when it was discovered that she had the 'second sight'. Inhertied from her mother who had been banished due to her family line after her affair with the Barron, this ancestral line was well known to contain this gift. The Barron loved his daughter however, through fear that she too would be banished if her ' unnatural power' was discovered kept her sealed within the family home.
Instead he gave her books to learn of the world. After the age of seventeen Kel's powers continued to develop and she found that past visions would seep into the minds of others, it took her several years to learn control of this and even now during periods of highetened emotion her control wavers. The result is painful for anyone in the vicinity, the vision tranfer is crippling to other minds and it often wrought havok with her father, who not only had to suffer the pain of the vision but sometimes of its nightmarish content.
Kel believed that her visions were not a random occurance and that they held solid ground within the world. After a vision, for a time, she would beable to 'feel' objects and people that were linked to that vision. It was when she held a book made by a man who is mere stories to travellers that her life would change forever, it was by that vision that she set out to discover what truth there was to be had in her power and what reason she was given this sight.
