Musical Dorkfest

Post by Metarie » Wed Jul 30, 2008 2:09 am

So, yeah. Showing my age here, but I am totally having a dork-fest to some songs.

I have decided that some hip young band of today needs to redo Nick Gilder's Hot Child in the City.

This of course represents only the tip of the iceberg that is my dork-fest musical moment(s).

So what's your dork-fest musical moment?

you know, I could remix that track, as a present just for you... could you send me a copy of it?

for me, my musical dorkfest has to be mark morrison's Return of the Mack. sure, it's pure RnB cheese, but I just love it... so I did a cheesecore remix of that one too hehe

I don't actually have it on mp3 or other format, but here it is on youtube:

Actually, the chords seem pretty easy. I may just add that to my list of songs to learn and sing. lol

I heard drake listens to some absolute trash.

Dunno exactly about dork fest moments. Probably, the dorkiest thing I've ever done with regards to music was to download every single kmfdm song I could find. 150 songs, almost all of it downloaded back when napster was around. Still got em all too.
