Multiple Orgasmic Experiences
Multiple Orgasmic Experiences
Alright, now that I've gained your attention, I was wondering how many people have multiple characters. If you do, which one's are your babies?

My only PC is Uluki, but I play her family as NPCs. They all get a fair bit of screen time, but Uluki will always be the one I identify with.
I don't see myself adding any more PCs because I prefer to have just one to concentrate on. Even with having the family around, I'm still able to focus my energy on one basic storyline at a time. I generally prefer to focus mainly on one character, as I'm doing.
EDIT: Not to change content but because I apparently can't type words better than a chimp can.

Guys are just jealous 'cause girls can have multiple orgasms.
No, wait.
I have 4 girls whom I love and adore. Jen is the youngest of them in terms of years being played (and age-wise, actually! She's only 25 or so, the youngest of the whole lot). Isn't that ironic? A vampire who isn't ageless!
Anyway. One thing I always like to point out is that all of the written history in my profiles was actually played out. My girls lived! And I had no life...
Anga - My oldest and dearest character, I played her before I really even understood what "role playing" was. It was a bad time in my life and I just wanted an escape. When Anga started she was a literal representation of my personality - and she was a dragon 100% of the time. Oh, how times change.
Geldenwing - My 2nd oldest character. She was a total goofball, fell in love, became a mother and then lost it all. All the people I write about in her profile really existed and were dear friends of mine. Illilli's player, in fact, played Anna (the original dragon-lady). I still miss Beowulf and Vince's players, and hope they're doing well.
Lanya Caliope - She probably has the most interesting creation, as I created her because 1. I wanted to play a regular human for once, and 2. I wanted to play a prank on Fruggles.
Lanya was a second persona named "Marie Nazario" in real life that I created and pretended wasn't me. She was a girl who had no messaging programs at home, and therefore wasn't around during the weekends and could only chat with the players of that board through the board's chat function. She could only be online at certain times of the day - oddly enough, the times that I couldn't be around! It was rather hilarious, especially since I got to hear Fruggles talk about me in the 3rd person.
I went so far as to eventually pretend to create a separate ICQ number for the sole purpose of coming online as Marie, who couldn't really navigate ICQ since she was unfamiliar with it. It was actually a lot of fun. Sadly I've lost the ICQ number, though.
I think Fruggles had a crush on her when I slipped up and revealed myself. I hope I didn't destroy your will to live there, boy!
I decided to make her a fully stand-alone character without the gimmick, and honestly, besides the thrill of being psychotic that I get with Jen, Lanya is my favorite to play. It's fun to play just a plain ol' human female reacting to the magical and far more powerful world around her.
And it can kinda suck, too.
Jenica Sabiny - Created because Fruggles begged me to, literally. I never wanted to play a vampire, but for some reason Phil decided that Bela needed a childe and by God I was gonna be the one to play her. This was literally weeks of him begging; I finally gave in with the condition that I would play her however the hell I wanted, and ignore all the lame vampire "rules." There's a reason Jen abandoned her sire immediately, and can actually move about in the daytime, just not direct sunlight.
I make a concious effort not to let her become cliche, but I still worry that she is. Ah well, can't win 'em all.

Same with Uluki (including the no life part. One thing I always like to point out is that all of the written history in my profiles was actually played out. My girls lived! And I had no life...
This is both good and bad.
It's good in that I have a whole well of past experiences and emotions to draw on, and I have a pretty good idea how she'll react to any given situation. She's also become pretty layered, so she feels more like a whole, complex person rather than just a set of attributes.
It's bad in that she's pretty established in my mind and definitely doesn't have the flexibility of a new character. She's a character who can adapt to new situations pretty well, but she is who she is, and I can't make significant changes without having a reason to justify them, at least to myself.
Uluki is the character I never seem to manage to get tired of, and in fact the chance to play her again was what brought me here in the first place. So... yay.
