Suffering from noobicitus.
Hello all, just thought that I'd be polite and introduce myself. I'm Jeremy, I'm from Louisiana, and, if he is approved, my character will be Drake Istalii. If you would like to know anything else you can, as you know, view my profile or ask. Now I have an inquiry of my own to make. Does anyone know if new character application approval/rejection is being put off until after the change to phpBB? If not, how long does said action take in the norm?
Hi Jeremy! Welcome to Thar Shaddin!
Usually, it only takes a day or two for Frug to look at a character application and either approve it or make suggestions. However, I just noticed that in the Shoutbox (that bit of chat at the top of the Forum Index page) he posted that he's going to be away for the next 48 hours. So it may take a little longer this time.
I know that waiting is a bitch, especially when you're eager to play. But this gives you a chance to read some of the current threads and try to decide which of them, if any, your character would be interested in joining.
Believe me, the wait is worth it.

Since Frug is gone, it may be myself that will be looking into your profile. I'm on vacation until tomorrow evening, and don't have a lot of time to read profiles until Thursday, so you may not get a reply until Frug gets back, or I get done my Wednesday school.
However, please be patient, we are usually quicker than this. I blame Summer. (The season.)

You’re gonna find out you’re already dead, and I was the world coming down on your head.

No, I assure you I do. I think being told that you talk funny by people that live in New Orleans, Jackson Miss, and Georgia qualifies you as having a southern draw. Damn, I can't even pronounce southern without an accent in my head, I just tried it and failed miserably.Jenica Sabiny wrote: I'll bet YOU don't have the funny accent though.

Texas is NOT the South! Don't get me started!
You Canadians hush too, with your "everyone's the south to me!" There's southern areas and then there's the South.
I'm so glad you do! You have no idea. I don't have it THAT much, but man, when it comes out it's like a three-syllable word becomes 8 syllables. Crazy.
