anyone here play any online games?

Post by Ico » Wed Apr 11, 2007 10:44 pm

just thought I'd see if anyone on here plays an online games. It'd be cool to play against/with some of you guys if you do. As far as games I've got go; my MMO's are guild wars (i've got factions and prophecies), and Voyage Century online (which is a free pirate based MMO). I've also got supreme commander, warcraft 3 (it's retro but still good) amd I'm getting the new command and conquer tomorrow.

anyway let me know if anyone's up for a game

Eve online is the only mmo i'll touch, and partially because it only takes up an hour or two per day to satisfy me.

Counter strike source is good for killing people. Used to play warcraft 3 frozen throne a lot (something like 1200 wins with about a 1:1 ratio) but not for months and months. I may get supreme commander eventually but to be honest it seems like it could really use more units. Loads of potential in that game though. Makes other RTS interfaces feel useless.

Used to play a lot of enemy territory too. I was holding out for the new one, which does look awesome, but I don't have the time to get hooked on it so i'm going to stay away.

Ugh. The battlefield games are too buggy. They were fun at first but too frustrating to deal with that engine. And this is from someone who plays source, which is hardly solid.

I can't argue with the assessment of source being easier but 1.6 is too repetitive and boring imho. I'll take quake over it for tourney style games.

Oh, and for wc3 I wasn't at 1200 wins at 1:1 I was at 600/600 win loss when bnet decided to delete my account cause I stopped logging in. Those bastards.
