Physical Appearance:

Alalia, being a mithra, has the ears, nose, and tail of a cat. However, even if she did not have these unusual physical characteristics, she would still have a rather striking appearance. She has wavy redish-brown hair that comes a bit below her shoulders, but she usually puts it back into a ponytail. Her eyes are large and a startling green and seem to glow in the dark. Her pupils are two vertical slits of black. Her ears and tail are the sam color as her hair, except they are tipped in dark brown.

Alalia is small, with a slim, lean form. She has hard, sinewy muscles that aren’t terribly obvious, but anyone who assumes her weak does so at their own risk. Her canines are sharp and slightly elongated, and her fingernails are actually retractable claws.

Alalia wears plain simple clothes, with no fancy ornaments to get in her way. Her normal attire consists of a loose hunter green shirt, black pants, black calfskin boots, and a black hooded cape to hide her more… unusual features.

Personality: Alalia is sly, cold, and sadistic. She has the craftiness of a cat and the love of inflicting pain on others that so many humans seem to possess. She will sell her blade to the highest bidder and will kill whomever she is hired to, not caring about the reason. All she wants is to enjoy the hunt. She takes great pleasure in thwarting guards and other measures of protection, coming and going like a shadow.

Strengths/Good Qualities: Alalia is highly intelligent, and a formidable sword fighter. She is strong and fast, with excellent balance that comes from her feline side.

Weaknesses/Bad Qualities: Alalia trusts no one, and is normally cold and cruel. She is also obsessive-compulsive, thanks to her feline nature. However, this forces her to look for every possible problem, making her a clean and efficient killer, which can be good or bad, depending on your perspective. It is also rumored that she has an addiction to catnip.

Character History:

Alalia was not born, but created. She had no childhood, as she was brought into the world as a sixteen-year old. She was designed to be the perfect murderer: crafty, silent, and quick. A dark sorcerer blended cat and human characteristics: the slyness, reflexes, and stealth of a feline and the raw determination and will to survive of a human. She was made female so she could reproduce and bear others like her.

She came into existence during the blackness if the new moon, when dark magic is the strongest. She was formed from the dirt of graves of killers mixed with blood and powdered bones of a human woman and a panther. Black sorcery gave her a life force and soul, or something like it.

She was designed to be a killer, and that goal was met, perhaps too well. She killed her creator in a fit of primal fury. After that she became a wanderer, but as for why, she does not know. Perhaps she sought others like her. She became a thief, her speed and agility aiding her greatly. Eventually, she was discovered by a lower city crime ring, and was hired as a murderer. She was especially gifted with the rapier. However, after she received sufficient training, she turned on her superiors, killing them and leaving the city. After that, she became an assassin, selling her skills to whoever made the highest offer.

Belongings: Other then the clothes on her back, Alalia owns only her rapier. It has a blade of blue-steel, and a simple black baskethilt, the grip wrapped in leather. It hangs in a sheath at her waist.
