Noldar Relkost

Post by Noldar Relkost » Thu Sep 04, 2014 5:10 pm

Name: Noldar Relkost

Age: 21

Race: Half-Minotaur

Appearance:

When looking at this man from a distance, he has horns like a ram extruding out of his forehead on either side and pitch black fur on his wrists and ankles, he has three fingers and a thumb on each hand and ivory black hooves for feet, on his back there rests on a few leather straps an abnormally large battleaxe owned by his father that was inherited unto himself, on the battleaxe itself is engravings of the history of his home in south Eyropa, where his brother and sister now live within the maze in his place while he travels the world. He has topaz colored pupils with a light glow if the sun gleams over them, compared to the normal human he is 8'4" being 2' larger then normal and stands out in crowds considering he only wears a loincloth, as he was not taught normal manners of a human and raised more like his father so when walking he shows pride and a modest but aggressive attitude to most. As far as looks compared he shares human like facial appearance unlike his brother and sister, and looks more like his mother then his father, thus its hard to tell what he is due to the rarity of Minotaur's existing within this world.

Supplies:

Inscribed Ancient Battleaxe
Leather Loincloth
Dream catcher Amulet
Leather Pouch of Herbs
Leather Pouch of Rations

Strengths:

When it comes to physical prowess Noldar Relkost specializes in fighting with two handed weapons or his fists due to his size advantage and natural bred fighting skills, and shows no fear when running into battle alone or with allies, also to note he has a unique ability to recuperate much faster then a normal Minotaur or human would.

Weaknesses:

While Noldar Relkost might be strong, magic does not respect his attitude to some, and when fighting should he fight someone with a goal that represents a good deed, then a force pushes back his blow slowing the attack in defiance about not killing said person, reducing its power and ability to hit slightly effective, he is not immune however it proves difficult for him and magic to coexist. And when it comes to bringing up his parents, his morale drops significantly making it significantly easier to speak to him, but at the same time giving him trouble to speak should you again due to hurting his pride.

History:

Near the beginning a female was walking within the forests of south Eyropa, her name was Launa, she had recently been forced out of her home by bandits and had nowhere to go. Clouds started to come across and by luck she came across what looked to be a catacomb, using this as shelter she descended down the flight of stairs using one of the already lit torches near the wall, she assumed that someone might be down here due to the light, however as she delved deep into the caves she found him. Morsen the Black was tending to his flames as she approached, slightly frightend but curious. The bull like beast snorts as he turns looking to the woman with his slightly scarred face, Launa stumbles back in some fright, falling to the floor as the torch rests at her side as she looks up at the cow in amazement and surprise. Even though this beast seemed hostile, she forced herself to ask one thing. "...Why do you bear those... scars on your face?" Her voice shakes as she says this, but it seems that Morsen perks his ears from this, turning his head back feeling somewhat more relaxed as he replies in a deep voice "Humans, Elves, Dwarfs... i could name many if i wanted to, but i gave up fighting long ago. I just seek peace within my home of pathways, guarding what property i have left." The woman somewhat surprised by this looks saddened from this and replies "You too then..?" Realizing what she said she covers her mouth, as if she had no intention of saying something like that to someone she just met, let alone a Minotaur. Morsen turns his head to look at the girl once more, but then turns his head back. And given a minute or two he finally says something "Is that how you came to find this place? Or by chance is it something like fate?" "Neither" She replies. "I was driven out of my home, accused of hurting others, and i simply found this place under my depression." Morsen finally goes out to say it considering she piqued his interest. "...Stay here for the time being, you help me, i help you. We can see what happens when the future comes along." Launa looks up to him, tears rolling down her eyes as she nods as if this was the first time anyone had said such a thing to her. Eventually as time went on they both connected together and grew to become a couple, and eventually after that children somehow became a possibility, even though it seemed impossible from the beginning it happened. Resulting in three children, one at a time. Firstly it started with Moranda, the eldest, and next Noldar, and finally the one that had killed her from the womb due to his size Roken. From this Morsen mourned from her death, but forced himself forward to put an example for the three and taught them their existence, but Noldar was the one who was most broken from this and finally asked Morsen about the outside world. Morsen looked to Noldar surprised he would ask such a thing, knowing that his existence resides in the maze, but simply says this "The world outside is a harsh place... If there comes a day where i die, i ask that you protect your brother and sister... however if you cannot accept my death... i leave the battleaxe i hold in your care and you must hunt down my killer. Once you have done this, do not return to your home as the outside world will make you stronger as it has done to me."
Noldar nods, eventually as does legends die, Morsen the Black is killed by a knight, told that his father had been raiding a village of its supplies when he simply hunted in the woods for deer and other mammals. As Noldar thought, he couldn't accept his father's death and took the battleaxe to his own when he found out this information, however he did something no one would expect, he chose to find out why his father was killed, and would judge who killed his father after seeing what he did for his people and determine if his father was a good or bad man. He said his goodbyes and left the maze for the first and only time in his life.

Hi Noldar,

Thanks for the character app. Based on the app, I recommend you try out Unicorn's Visions http://www.unicornsvisions.com. I think the style exhibited in your application will fit better there, than here.
