Blah. I'm going to ask that we wait another month or so before the bombings occur. I'm asking this as the person who has been struggling to keep things going and waiting for things to pick up since 2010, because I had wanted the Gala to play out first, with a focus on interrelationships and to get a feel for the machinations of things before the violence started to occur. Initially, I'd picked the Gala as the main starting point because there would be so many characters in it who had political motives, and after some of those motives felt more established then I thought it would be a good time to introduce the violence.

I don't see a problem with waiting longer to introduce the bombings. I know that Jason and team still need to discuss the bombing logistics (what the bombs are made of, if it's possible to have bombs in all those places at once, etc.) with James. I think that waiting a month or more isn't a problem and is highly probable because the time is still needed to finalize the details (DETAILS!) and because of people's availability for posting.

Things have changed a lot since the idea was first put down after the thread with Saruna, Kori, Fay and Derin, and I can't tell you guys how happy it makes me to have it grow as much as it has. But, I'm going to be a little bit selfish this once and ask that it wait a bit longer (also why I'd encouraged the splits, as I felt it would make the conversations easier to track and help those who are slower to post stay focused more on their parts rather than having to try to track their partners posts in between a deluge of other conversations and actions).

My takeaway was that those attending the meeting were comfortable with sorting through other posts to keep track of their partner's posts to keep visibility of all the action and conversations going on in the room. I think attendees at time of discussion included Meesh, Tov, Nav, Jason, Kit, Frug, Zina, and me, but maybe it was only Tov, Nav, Kit, Jason, and me. Happy to reintroduce the topic again.

I suppose if we split the Gala thread, it could be based on writer preference? SO, folks, weigh-in if you want to split off your characters from the main thread. Personally, I am ok keeping it one thread.

If we do split, do we split off based on location in the room? Or just based on characters participating? And, do we allow some to stay in the main thread because they are comfortable with the no posting order mass posting model?

re: motives and interactions
I think for those who have posted, their political motives were called out in initial posts. Do we need other characters to post? What else are you hoping to see regarding the development of motives being posted in the Gala threads versus those motives being established in other threads?

Also sorry I didn't make it to give my input while it was happening. When I realized I wasn't going to be able to go yesterday morning I was very frustrated, but stuff happens.

It sure does Sounds like you're going through a high-stress period again. We heart you bunches. Don't stress about here. I know I'm the worst for demanding posts, but it's done as tongue in cheek. I know and expect that people can and will always, always have the time they need. Unnerstan?!
