SCHATTEN

Strength:
Stealth Walk(Power)-Able to walk silently on nearly all terrain. They seem to 'glide' on the ground but they are actually just walking lightly. Ground with crunching leaves and other loud noises however make this ability useless.
Shadow Jump(Power)-Can slide from one shadow to another (distance depends on age and abilities). They MUST have a shadow large enough for them to walk into, the shadow must be upright, and if they aren't careful and both shadows disappear they will be trapped until nightfall when they are finally able to leave again.

Climbers-Are able to climb cliffs and sheer walls without grapple hooks due to having their own claws. They cannot however go up walls that they cannot grip (metal walls for example).

Quick Runners- These buggers can move pretty quickly though not for long. It's more like sprinting.

Raise dead (Power) - The power to bring to life a single dead thing. It's soul is reattached and it's body remains together but it also has a mind of it's own. Few can actually raise more then one but if you raise the dead then it follows you around though the smell of dead does not come off. Basically, you got yourself a dead smelly sidekick with an attitude problem.

Weakness:

-During the day all powers are unusable (Already raised dead remain upright however)
- The Schatten's appearance makes them obvious at what they are unless they hide. This becomes troublesome for those proud and stupid.
-Superior attitude towards other races. Naturally, the other species would get jealous and try and wipe off the scrawny little Schatten.
- Schatten cannot carry/wear heavy things such as steel armor or large weapons. They do not have the strength to do this and nor the size to wield such things effectively.
-Schatten cannot enter uninvited into buildings (If they do, spells are nulled as if it was daytime. If it is already day, then they basically feel like they're being burned by whatever they touch inside place)

-Having been originally cave dwellers, Schatten are more bred to hunt in the dark. Their eyes are made for night vision so daylight tends to give them migraines and direct focused lights in their eyes for twenty minutes-hour will cause them to go blind.

Appearance:

Much of their appearance resembles that of a regular human except slightly smaller. Their hair and eyes vary in color just as much as a regular human save the fact their pupils tend to be slits like a snake while the colors of their eyes tend to brighten up when they have an intense emotion. Their canine teeth are also lengthen past their average size when they're spooked, angry, or simply eating.

Their skin tone is usually has an almost ashy look to them, like the person was rolling around in dust before they decided to leave the house. Another odd fact is that the Schatten cannot gain weight past looking like bones and skin nor can they gain any appearance of muscle (males cannot grow facial hair). Their hands are boney while their fingers are longer than a human by nearly an inch each. Sharp claws tip each finger tip, the talons a solid black and as hard as steel.

Little spiked ridges that almost look like thorns weave in and out of their skin, following their spine and down their arms. They each have a tail that somewhat resembles a scaled rat tail, though color and length depend on each person. The rest of their appearances match that of a human, giving them the ability to blend only if they cover up and lay low. There are mixed opinions about the laws in Marn but it was under the same agreement amongst them. Do not cause trouble, don't get caught. Stay low if you want to live in the city. These rules helped them adapt and survive in the bustling city of Marn.
