Civic Opportunity
Availability: Open pending discussion
Posting Speed: Once a week (excepting RL circumstances)
Characters Involved: Emil Adalius, Talionus Blackthorne, Anther
Location: Currently in the Civic Court.
Summary: Emil Adalius is a child of fallen nobility, who seeks the power to restore his family's name. A recently elected civil magistrate trying to win the favor of the Judges, Emil gets the chance he has been looking for when the Justice Hall sends him a special assignment.
Other Notes: Part of the Rebellion story line, with a more anti-rebellion flavor.

Re: Civic Opportunity
I just made a post in CBC in which Judge Vincas has offered Talion and Anther a chance to lesson their punishment by working for him. If they agree, which I'm sure they will (Talion will of course) they will then be sent to Emil with instructions on how he is to supervise them while he helps look into the Paragon.

Re: Civic Opportunity
haha no, more like personal spring cleaning... reorganizing and reprioritizing my projects & to-do-lists. Any progress talking to Fayane about having Ran and Saruna join them?

Re: Civic Opportunity
Will post after a day of recovery.
Re: Civic Opportunity
Hey Kat, your last post has me confused. Are Anther and Talion at the civic court? Are they knocking on Emil's door? Is it night? I'm not sure I know how to respond.

Re: Civic Opportunity
Fruggles, Zina said you were confused by what's happening in the thread so I'll summarize for you.
The Judges have taken notice of the Paragon group and their little newsletter that they've been distributing around the city. The Paragon is being labeled as troublemakers for trying to spread feelings of distrust against members of the government. Since the Paragon operates underground and is run by a yet unnamed individual, they can't yet be put to a stop.
However, the Judges don't want it getting out that they are trying to put a stop to the Paragon as it would show the public that they feel threatened by the group.
We came up with the idea to have non-violent prisoners being given a chance at parole if they offer to help work for the Judges.
Emil is a young recently elected civil magistrate who hasn't been given many responsibilities and it was decided that he wouldn't draw attention to himself if he watched over a few of these prisoners as they looked into the Paragon and who is behind the group.
Tal and Anther don't know yet what they are getting into but they agreed to do whatever was asked of them so as to be let out of the Justice Hall cells.

Yes, it is night time. And yes, Tal and Anther were escorted (most likely by guards but probably not in uniform) to Emil's place.

Oh I already knew all of this because it's in the thread. My confusion was about Anther's post only.Niabi wrote:Fruggles, Zina said you were confused by what's happening in the thread so I'll summarize for you.

Zina didn't state what you had questions about so I tried to answer all questions.
