Call of the Raptor: Civilization of 150 humans
Leader: High Elder Skytalon
Location: The jungles of Northwest Ayana
Religion: This civilization of humans is one of seven installations of "Call" clans. A Call clan is more or less a religion that is based off of the bond of select animals.
This religion believes that in times of great peril, or possible extinction, an animal will seek the aid of another human, as a last resort, in order to save itself and its species. Many animals in Ayana have been wiped out completely so "The Call", as they like to refer to themselves, justify this by believing that a very small amount of humans are born with the natural ability to communicate with animals from eye contact, and only an animal can look a human in the eyes and tell if he has that ability.
Purpose: The Call of the Raptor was formed when a man, who is now called High Elder Skytalon, came across an injured raptor while hunting for his tribe. During the High Elder's younger years, which is unknown, raptors were being pushed out of existence by the fast growing population of giant predators. When Skytalon saw the raptor he noticed that something had bitten a chunk out of the animals foot but prepared himself for the inevitable attack. Raptor's were man eaters and they would not miss an opportunity to hunt a human just because of an injured foot. But instead of attacking the raptor cocked its head and stared at Skytalon with its eye. Instantly Skytalon felt the warmth and compassion in his heart for the animal and was suddenly very concerned for the animals well-being. When this feeling washed over him the raptor stood and slowly strode next to Skytalon and the bond was made.
High Elder Skytalon's arrival at his tribe with the raptor was met with shock and fear from his people as well as anger and disdain. Skytalon pleaded with his leaders to attempt to understand the call for help that the raptors were asking them for, but his pleas fell on deaf ears as the tribal leaders ordered Skytalon to kill the raptor or be forever banished. It didn't take much thought for Skytalon to take the raptor, leave his tribe and never return.
After a few months, sympathizers to the raptors call began to come forth and those who sympathized with the aid of a "human predator" were banished as well, causing Skytalons followers to grow.
Today 150 tribesmen have acquired the ability to communicate with their personal raptor through eye contact and together the raptors and their human brothers, led by the wisdom of High Elder Skytalon, protect a large natural habitat that provides shelter for raptors against the horrors of Northwest Ayana.
Under the command of the High Elder, Braun Sharpeye leads his small regiment in protecting the fragile habitat and will kill any hostile creature on sight in the defense of his raptor family.
Additional Information: The Call of the Raptor is the smallest of the "Call" clans and are in constant communication and trade with the Call of the Eagle, the Call of the Panther, the Call of the Cobra, the Call of the Elk and the Call of the Boar. The other mysterious clan is the Call of the Dragon, but they stay in contact and trade with noone. These fearsome tribesmen and their dragons are extremely territorial and will mind their own business so long as they are not bothered. Their tribes location is believed to be somewhere in southwest Ayana but is unknown.
-Any human that has acquired a deep bond with any creature will die if their creature is killed and the same is applied to the creature if their human is killed. Likewise if one becomes sick or injured, so will the other.

Call of the Raptor
Other men said they have seen angels,
But I have seen thee
And thou art enough.
But I have seen thee
And thou art enough.
