Physical Description: Not very remarkable or outstanding Alois has a lean athletic build and stands roughly at 5'8'' and weighting around 149 lbs. Alois is the type of guy you always see sitting in a dark corner of a tavern, he is not exceptionally good looking or bad looking and has a face that easily mixes with the crowd. His dark brown hair is kept short and barely above six inches long and Alois is unable to grow facial hair. Alois skin is tough and tanned like the one would expect from a forester or farmer who labors in the fields all day long.

Alois has a number of scars around his body, mostly old sword cuts and scars where an arrow or two used to be. The most notable is the one on his face, it is a small half and inch long cut in his left cheek that travels to his lip, giving a sort of creepy smiling look to the otherwise calmed expression Alois has.
Clothing wise Alois is simple; he wears the clothing of a commoner and is not always in the best condition. Generally, he wears a simple long sleeve shirt and brown pants and boots made for road travel, he carries around a dark green cloak with a Hood for those cold days.

Powers or Strengths:
Weapon skills: familiar with the use of most weapons with the exception of exotic arms from lands far away. Alois is a decent swordsman and archer able to hold his own in a fight but he won’t be winning in impossible odds or be performing extreme feats of archery. In every sense of the word, Alois is average when it comes to using a weapon. He is however adept at using two weapons at once (generally his short sword and a dagger) Alois style generally is hit fast and hard before retreating he is not so good in prolonged battles.

Infiltration: Probably Alois best trait is that he is excellent at sneaking into places and blending in with the crowd as well as sticking into the shadows and finding the proper guard to bribe and in generally keeping his head down and go unnoticed. Alois is good at finding a way into places without being seen, he is also a decent thief and pickpocket.

Physical traits: average human strength Alois is completely normal; he is a decent swimmer and climber with the help of proper equipment. Alois can run and sprint just like any guy, he won’t pulling fancy acrobatics or impossible feats of dexterity.

Alois for a human can see well enough in the dark. His eyesight is good and aaccustomed to the dark but it won’t win a starring matches with a race acostumed to seeing in dark. Alois doesn’t see perfectly in the dark but at least sees better than the average person.

Cunning and opportunistic: Alois is great at coming up with makeshift plans on the move and has a very good eye for openings or opportunities. He is also a good tracker

Weaknesses and Flaws:
Is an average human, Alois will die from extreme cold and a good stab or a fall big enough to kill a person. Alois is a perfectly healthy human who can die just as easily as any other person, even from an infected scratch or a good scare.

Alois can barely read and much less write. It takes Alois a hell of a lot of time to write a letter and his writing his comparable to that of a kid and the grammar is the same.

Not really good with numbers (Haggle with him and you can easily come up with the most profit)
Doesn’t trust magic and supernatural events (Alois has seen magic plenty of times but he has never gotten used to it or its effects and tends to be casious and careful around magicians and a sufficiently dramatic spell is enough to make Alois run for his life)

Although not old yet a couple of old war wounds have stacked up and Alois is not as agile as he was in his youth.

Alois tends to feel expose whenever he is in day light and in an empty street.

History:
Born thirty-nine years ago in the slums of a city far to the west, near Terlham. Alois Conrad parents were as poor as someone can be and manage to rent a rundown house. Life was hard for the family and life became a living hell for Alois after a plagued hit the slums and his parents were among the many that died due to the lack of medicine and treatment. Alois was left alone in the streets where he became a petty thief, errand boy and scavenger. Although people were unfair and even cruel to Alois he thought he was living far better than those orphans in the workhouses. Alois was independent and free, he was quick on his toes and even quicker with his fingers. It was not until he was seventeen that life took a sudden turn.

One day Alois tried to rob the purse of a fat wealthy nobleman but he was caught by the city guard. After a trashing and some of Alois worst days the poor orphan was sent to a court and the judge gave
Alois two options.

Go and spend the rest of his life in jail or enlist in the army. The choice was a very simple for Alois, he chased the army over a life time in jail. War had come to Alois country that year.
Alois and the many recruits were given a short lesson on how not to stab themselves and where sent to the front lines. Alois made it through three major battles and showed he to be an adept scout and eventually was transfered to the army forward scout units.
Three months into the war and Alois proved himself an excellent scout and a decent soldier that he was transferred into another section of the army. One that was not directly involved in the fighting rather was involved in doing the dirty and shady work.

Alois and his companions acted as spies, raiders and saboteurs behind enemy lines. He and his group were in charge of destroying enemy supplies, raiding caravans and burning the Occasional Bridge to stall reinforcements. After six months of heavy fighting the war ended and Alois was left like many others without a job.

Alois took the earliest opportunity to get away from his country and found work as a caravan guard for a not very wealthy merchant. Alois lived with the merchant for roughly three years and they parted ways eventually. Alois would then be drafted back into the army after another petty meaningless war
began at the age of twenty one.

Alois and some old “friends” got back together and made a similar unit of infiltrators and raiders, this war was more bloodier than the last one and many people died on both sides. After the end of the war Alois was left yet again without a job in the military and he found no other job. So alois turned to the only option he had.

Robbery and small time theft were Alois way to get food. Eventually he was ran off town by a local gang of thugs and Alois became a drifter and a highwayman.

For years that was his lifestyle, always on the move and always looking for a way to make a quick coin. Eventually around the time Alois was twenty seven, by sheer chance Alois found and old friend from his time as a soldier who was looking for mercenaries for a particularly dangerous expedition to far north east. The pay was more than Alois could ever hope to gain through petty thieving so he signed in without a second thought. The expedition was destroyed by a pack of magic wielding were-beast unlike anything Alois had seen before; the mercenary was the only survivor of the battle.

Alois made his way back to civilization eventually and continued his life as a drifter and hired sword arm and gained a new found sense of respect and fear for the magical and supernatural of the world.
At the age of thirty nine Alois found work with large merchant caravan and after a long boring trip and the occasional bandit. Alois found himself in the city of Marn

Welcome to Thar, Alois! First I'd suggest you either use firefox for its automatic spell checker or another program before putting anything up here. While it won't solve any unfamiliarity with the language (I have enough trouble with one language, much less the three or four you know), it will help some.

But, let's look over the content first. As you're a bit vague on where he's from, under strengths I'd like you to list the number of weapons he is familiar with. You don't have to be too specific, but I'd like to see exactly what type of weapons you're thinking of, as well as how many in total.

Under infiltration you mentioned Alois likes to bribe guards. Does he usually bribe them with bishani or does he use something else? How much wealth does he have?

In your history if possible could you put what age Alois was at when he did all of these things? I'd like to get a feel for how much of his life each event took up. As well, after being in so many big battles I'm rather surprised he has not sustained any major/minor wounds. I would like to see something in his weaknesses that reflects the strain of going to war so often, and maybe include mention in his history of some injuries (major or minor -- fatigue, strained tendons/ligaments, environmental issues such as frostbite/heatstroke/swamp foot, whatever) he has sustained.

Alright, the spelling and grammar. You do have errors scattered throughout your app, and I am going to request that you read through your writing carefully and try to find them and correct them. Even if the app was otherwise perfect, I would not be able to approve it until the big ones were taken care of. Too, if you wouldn't mind doing a double return after every paragraph, I would be very appreciative. This is mostly to make the separate paragraphs clearer, so it's less of a strain on my eyes.
