Blood and Ale
Kori Stronghammer lifted the tankard of ale once more. He had lost count, and when that sniveling bartender had asked him to slow down, Kori had thrown him back behind his bar. Stupid Git. That'd teach him to interrupt a Notherner during his meal.
The Bar maids refused to come near, Kori's gropes and pinches had grown out of control more and more every minute. Now he was pounding on the table with a rhythm, bellowing a song about the salt spray and splintered skulls in his own tongue. All the weaklings that had patronized this tavern when he arrived were gone. Either dragged out by friends or limped out on their own, even a couple being thrown through the door. Rising from the chair, ale tankard in one hand and leg of mutton half-eaten in the other, Kori roared in his deep bass voice, "Is there no one? Does the great city of Marn offer no one to face me?" Ripping a great chunk of the greasy meat from the bone with his Bear-like teeth, Kori yelled once again. "YOU! Yes you, you blonde bitch. Bring me more ale and provide me with some companionship or I'll destroy this shithole you call a bar.

Re: Blood and Ale
Fayane Tyme all but flew down the streets of Marn to the tavern. There had been reports of a very large disturbance and of course Fay had been the only damn guard on duty. She flashed around a corner and stopped before the tavern, her breathing even.
She walked into the bar and noticed the issue almost immediately. Kori... of course of ALL the people in Marn, WHY him?!? Fay swore under her breath before stalking forward and grabbing Kori's arm.
"Stronghammer! You had better have an explanation to your terrible manners!" Fay barked, her eyes flashing. She was SO not impressed with the tall Northernman.

Re: Blood and Ale
When Fay grabbed his arm, Kori simply threw the arm away from him.
"Look here guard bitch, I don't give a fuck who you are. I've told ye before. Do'naut fuckin' touch me. Pretty fucking stupid cannae even git t'at right!" Waving his mutton leg around like a royal scepter, Kori took a deep, deep, DEEP drink of ale. "Well, you can TOUCH me little woman, but I'd prefer a mooch funner wae and funner place. Catch mae drift lil' woman?"
Kori started laughing, and stomped to the bar. Reaching behind it and pulling an ale cask out, he ripped the stopper out and began drinking it. When he drained the cask, his eyes went flinty as he looked at Fayane.
"SO. What'll it be guard? Ye gunna try 'n clap irons on mae? Cause I tell you now, that ain't gunna 'appen ya ken?"

Re: Blood and Ale
Fay stared at Kori, disbelief very evident. The buffoon didn't recognize her. And what was more he tried (and failed miserably) to seduce her. Fay couldn't help it, she chuckled and shook her head.
"Kori Kori Kori... you don't recognize me? This saddens me..." Fay smiled "It's Fayane, remember? I have no wish to arrest you, however I will ask you to please leave the bar - you've caused quite the ruckus." Fay smiled and moved to the tall man once more.
"Now why don't we just leave nice and quiet like? And I'll take you home."

Re: Blood and Ale
"HOME?!?!?!?!? HOME?!?!?!?!? FUCK MAE HOME! BASTARDS KEPT ME IN A FUCKIN' CAGE MY ENTIRE TEENAGE LIFE!"
Slamming his hands down on the table, Kori growled at the guard. "I don't give a flying fig if you are one of the bloody judges or a changer rein-fucking-carnated. I'mma stay here, enjoy mae ale, my mutton, and try to get laid. I dunna care what the fucking ruckus has been caused, git the fuck out of it!"
Kori ripped another chance of meat off the bone, and took another deep drink, draining another cask, spilling much of it into his beard. The fucking guard is still here! He thought, outraged. Picking up a peanut from the bar, he bounced it on his palm before throwing it at the guards head.

Re: Blood and Ale
Fay caught the small nut before it hit her. What was he talking about? Cages? Fay's never seen Kori in a cage... she was about to ask him what he meant when the barkeeper caught her eye. She turned slightly to see his begging look. Fay sighed, one last peaceful try was in order. Gently tossing the nut back onto the counter Fay moved forward and once more gently gripped Kori's arm, ignoring how it flexed beneath her hands.
"I'll not take you to anyone who'll cage you. I mean take you to my home, help you sleep off this mead. Mind you, you will be keeping your hands to yourself as I have no interest in bedding you." Fay had to make sure that was clear between them - especially when he'd mentioned that was one of his wants.
"Besides, with your current attitude you'll scare away any woman who may find you comely." Fay teased, tugging his arm gently. "Come now, let's step outside, yes?"

Re: Blood and Ale
Kori looked down at the hand. He was a lot steelier than he had seemed a moment ago, focused with anger.
"Did I not just tell you. To not fuCKING TOUCH ME?"
Grabbing the guard by her shirt, he picked her up and shook her.
He'd rattle every goddamned tooth out of that thick fucking skull until she would understand.

Re: Blood and Ale
Fay did not like being shook. She did not like being manhandled. She did not like the way Kori was treating her. Blue eyes went so dark they looked black as she moved and kicked Kori on the head as hard as she could - knowing the blow wouldn't KILL the man, but it'd be enough to dislodge her.

Re: Blood and Ale
SHE KICKED ME IN THE FUCKING HEAD!
As the foot began it's travel away, Kori lunged his head forward and bit down hard. The elongated canines, traits of Rising Bear, punctured the guards skin. Disengaging his powerful jaws, he let the guard fall completely to the floor. And then he laughed at her, and picked up his mutton leg.
"Maybe you should learn which head to kick on a man. Don't worry little thing, I'll teach you the difference between the to. Come now get up, we have a dance to finish. First Blood to me."
With that, he dumped an entire cask of Mountain Deep Brown ale over her.

Re: Blood and Ale
Fay trembled with fury. The bite hadn't bothered her so much - her leg guard had stayed the worst of the damage - it was the ale. Fay stood her eyes almost black. Everything was within minute detail, the scents, smells, sights. She looked up and heard Kori's heart beat, smelt the life's blood running through his veins, saw his pulse. Time to end this. Fay flashed from sight, quickly re-appearing behind Kori, both of her fathers blades quickly slicing into the soft area behind the tall man's knees. He would pay.

Re: Blood and Ale
Kori laughed with the pain. "Good hit little one!" Instead of falling straight forward, Kori further impaled his own legs to fall straight back with as much force as possible. Falling on top of the guard, he managed to be just quick enough to smash the hard point of his elbow down onto her face.
Getting to his knees with a blade still trapped in his leg, Kori looked at the guard. "Pretty bad you had to cut me down at the knees and still I may be taller than you. Come one shorty, take your knife back."

Re: Blood and Ale
Fay straitened with the man, ignoring the agony the movement caused.
"As you wish." Fay murmured and grabbed her blade. Instead of just pulling it out and being nice, Fay gave it a quick twist - cutting the tendons in his knee. She slid the blade away and leaped back before the man could topple on her again.

Re: Blood and Ale
"OW. Dastardly trick woman, out and out nasty. But...." Reaching into his shirt, he pulled out a vial. Pulling the stopper out with his teeth, he spit the cork at Fay and chugged the liquid. The healing potion was a bitch to drink, the tast horrible, and it was thick like syrup. But, it worked pretty quickly. Standing on his slightly tender legs, Kori looked at the guard.
"You know little one, I don't know whether to want to bed you or beat your fucking head in."
Still gripping his leg of mutton, Kori stripped the last few shreds of meat off it with his teeth. Gripping the large bone, he grinned. Jumping forward, fully extending his arms reach, he used the bone like a club, driving it with all his weight and force behind it into the guards midsection.

Re: Blood and Ale
Fay's eyes narrowed. A healing potion... a fucking HEALING POTION! Gods damn the fucking retard that gave one to Kori. She did, however notice it was still tender. She saw him move - the bone aimed at her mid-section. If that hit that'd cost her a rib or two on top of her broken nose. Fay leaped high and pulled herself up onto the rafters - the blow missing her by mere inches. Gods above... Fay leaped from rafter to rafter until she was far enough away from Kori that she could analyze his movements. Absent mindedly she snapped her nose back in place, ignoring the sting. He still favored his leg, Fay noticed and didn't seem to have any trouble with lifting large, heavy objects. But he didn't move all that fast. Fay blinked he relied more on brute strength than speed which meant she had to keep out of reach. Gods above... it was just like training with Father all over again.

Re: Blood and Ale
He laughed. Palming a knife from his belt, he threw it. The only time he was fast was when he was throwing a knife, and as always he made it count. Looking at the knife sticking out of the guards thigh, he smirked. "Looks painful." Walking over to the bar and reaching behind it, he grabbed the dinner ware trays for the bar, with a nifty little assortment of meat knives. He had 5 more hidden on his person as well, not counting the giant pig sticker at his side.
"Lets see how well you dance little one." Kori began throwing meat knives, parer knives, filet knives, anything in the tray, swift and sure.
