Gustel & Harmonia [open for use!]

[Saruna]

Purpose: Gustel is a bit of a jack of all trades, who tends to take on paid jobs for simple spying or information gathering, typically having to do with magic. He and his sister don't settle down for very long, so it's possible to meet them on the road somewhere in Thar Shaddin or Eyropa, though it is unlikely you'll see them in Marn or Shim for a year or more. Harmonia is sick with magical backlash that acts like a wasting disease, though Gustel lacks the money to go straigt to a renowned magical healer. Instead, they travel around as he tries to find someone cheap but reliable, making do on side jobs along the way.

Gustel

Demeanor: He's a very good actor, so he tends to behave in whatever way will suit him best. He is obsessed with getting ahead, and having enough money, where 'enough' is vague at best. He's not naturally friendly, and extremely wary of anyone else who isn't him or his sister. He's fiercely overprotective, often assuming the worst in people who might simply want to help Harmonia. Towards potential employers it is doubtful he'll say much of anything about his sister, rightfully fearing her being used against him.

He is not easily offended, having no deeply held beliefs and being honest enough with himself to recognize his own faults. But, he feels that nothing else matters but the health of himself and his sister, and so often overlooks his own faults entirely, since as long as they don't harm himself or Harmonia they're okay. Everyone else in the world doesn't matter. He has no qualms with hurting others, and isn't afraid to defend himself or Harmonia with violence if necessary.

He is extremely patient, has a fair bit of learning, and is inherently logical.

Appearance: He is a very neat person. He keeps himself very presentable, with neatly combed hair of an indeterminate brown and fairly well fitting clothes. He looks rather boring at first glance, but has a pleasant smile and eyes set far enough apart to qualify as exotic or unappealing. His skin is a warm light brown, as are his eyes, and though stocky he is clean limbed. He looks in his late twenties or early thirties, and carries himself as a respectable adult lodged solidly in the middle class -- unless he needs to act otherwise.

Harmonia

Purpose: Cause for the two to be wandering around. Not likely to be seen in casual rp unless the character gets Gustel to trust him, or is a healer that can promise aid for Harmonia.

Demeanor: Spoiled brat. She is tender only towards Gustel, and usually only when she wants something. She was prickly before her illness, but since she has descended into the ranks of Hellish Teenage Girl, and her personality is definitely of the type that no one likes to be around. She throws tantrums if she doesn't get what she wants, and tends to whine. She has a hard time shutting up.

Appearance: Pale light brown, thin, weak looking teenage girl. Gustel tries to keep her looking neat, but she is typically unkempt.
