Howdy

Post by Verrik » Thu Jul 13, 2006 6:48 am

My name's Matt, and I am funky.

Actually, I'm just a guy who owns board, plays on a few, and is always looking for a place away from the "usual crowd". I've been roleplaying online since 97 online and even further before that with D&D.

I play the character known as Verrik Raandal, who is going to be the host body to the spirit of another older character of mine, Breckt Al Anz, who already has an outrageously long history that I've been able to flex around and change up at a moment's notice...this "facelift" being the perfect example.

So far, I'm pretty dang impressed with what is going on here and I can't wait to rock this joint with my one of my favorite partners in crime (or better yet, an RP sublime) Morena. She was the one that lured me here with promises of candy and fun stories.

On top of Verrik, I'll gladly play any other characters you'd like. Some might not be as big as others and they'll play supporting roles. Those will be kept under this name. I'll also gladly play any role upon request and I'll make major characters too who will have their own accounts.

That's about it. May your foreheads grow like the mighty oak.

-Matt

Welcome to our humble abode, Matt. May cotton spring forth from thy ears!

Ol' Frugalufugus handles profiles, so hopefully he'll be in today to review and letcha know. Otherwise, I hope you have a fantabulous time!

forheads grow like the mighty oak. I know that line from somewhere. My friend Phil keeps saying it. It's got to be from something like discworld.

Since we've spoken already I won't say hello here. Nope.

I will say that you can feel free to post a link to your board in our advertisements section and/or if you link back I'll put it in the community section. Up to you, that. Otherwise, hello and welcome.

I lied.

The line is from Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Movie.

It is pure brilliance.

I will post my link in a bit. It's not much of anything at the moment, but I hope to get it somewhere. In the meantime, if anyone is interested in checking it out, just ask.

And speaking of ask, I have a question..

Frug: Did you see my application? I noticed you approved someone else's but I didn't want to start writing without knowing that it had been looked at.

Thanks for the greets everyone, looking forward to adventuring with you.

Don't worry Matt, he saw it. He can only process one at a time. Be patient with the poor boy. :)

I love this kid.... seriously though, the only reason he says that I'm good is because he makes me look good. lol Folks, trust me when I say that he is an amazing writer, world builder, idea man, dream maker. ;-)

Now that I've built him up, let me also say that you won't be disappointed. He's so easy to write with and tons of fun.

and on that note... I'm so excited to be writing with all of you. I couldn't have picked a better group of people to begin rping with again.
