Age: Kana is 16 years old, her birthday is a spring one.

Race: Kana is human

Physical Description: Kana is thin with pale skin and freckles across the bridge of her nose. She has long black hair and wide brown eyes. She has a sort of gangly look. Wears a long sleeved long cotton dress. The fabric is white with little red rosebud's everywhere. On chilly days she wears a shaw over her shoulders. On days when it is especially cold she wears a soft blue cloak. She's always seen with her brown sack bag.

Possessions: A room (rents a room in a house with a family of elves), a saddlebred brown horse, her sack bag, a copy of Tomes of the First Settlers, notebook, pencils, satchel of random herbs, 3 astrology textbooks, a sketch of a flower her brother made for her. A short dagger with a wooden handle, and a wooden bow with five arrows.

Powers or Strengths: Well, she doesn't really have any powers. As for strengths, she has an excellent memory, she can run fast, and she's intelligent. She does not use her dagger or bow well, she has pretty bad aim.

Magic - Kana cannot use magic.

Weaknesses and Flaws: Kana is very frail, she's not strong and you can tell by looking at her that she would be an easy target. Kana is also quite unlucky, she has a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. As I mentioned earlier her marksmanship skills are very poor, and she cannot use a dagger very well. So basically, Kana can not defend herself at all, but can only flee. She's very poor and works very hard to keep up with the rent. Her only family is dead, and her brother missing. She also has a problem where she trusts to easily, which could lead to some more unlucky situations.


History:

Kana was born in Marn to her mother and father. She had a younger brother named Tolbias. Her childhood was average, she was educated well and brought up in faith and the Tomes of the first settlers. When she was nine her father was killed in Trelham by mobsters. When she was fourteen her mother passed away from sickness. Kana never fully recovered from the loss of her mother, and it still burdens her today. She did her best to live right and bring up her brother well, but weeks later Tobias had some sort of magical explosion, harming a small child that lived next door. When he was forced to go and explain that he had magic, he never came back. Guards and officials tell Kana that they saw Tobias leave town, but Kana has a feeling that something else may be going on. Currently Kana attends university and is studying astronomy. She also has a part time job there as a book keeper. She lives in pantry of some neighbors, but can hardly make rent. The only out she sees in life is marrying well and finding out where Tobias really is.

Sorry about it taking so long for me to get back to you. I had some issues with well my modem crapping out on me and due to the three day weekend I just got my internet back.

So I've read over your character and I think you are off to a good start but i would like to see what you have expanded on. I think you should spend a little more time on each section and round her out as a character. I want you to add some more to her and bring out her personality.

I would expand a bit on everything.

Why does she carry around a bow and daggers if she can't use them? What are wrong places at the wrong time that she finds herself in? How does she feel about magic and the local laws? What are view of crime and how have they been effected by the death of her father and the arrest of her brother? You mentioned that Kana might not fully believe the Guards explanation of her brother's whereabouts, what does she think happened to him? What does she do with the herbs she carries around? What are they used for?

Those are some ideas of places where you add some expansion on.
