These are ideas that I randomly drew up in chat the other day because my brain was fried. All of them are rough.

The second lemur is really just an idea that spawned when my brain was off taking a vacation somewhere. It has treefrog or gecko-like feet, so it can stick to things. If it was more like a treefrog it would probably have moist feet from I have no idea, while if it was more gecko-like then it would use tiny hairs on its feet to stick to things. It would probably be anywhere from the size of a rat to the size of a small house cat.

I really like these. The general figure of the drune is quite what I was looking for, I think. If you have time, do you think you could do a couple of more detailed sketches similar to these? Don't have to be perfect or anything, though, of course. And with a couple of adjustments; drunes would likely have more hair/fur, for example, and perhaps rounder ears and shorter tails. Thanks for posting these.

I like your drawings Zina but a part of me sees those long tails and I imagine people trying to play them like horrible anime furry cat girls and that just makes me want to rage. My idea was to make the drune more gorilla-like people, mostly in the face with their noses.

I agree with that idea as well, and it does concern me slightly. I like the idea of them having tails because most mammals do, and I don't want to make them tailless just for the sake of them not being like a lot of those animal sort of races; I think perhaps if their tail is rather inconspicuous, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, anyway. Maybe something more like a dog tail, yeah? Another good reason for adding tails is that perhaps the Drubant would remove the tails of their children to be more human-like. The ears as well, I would rather not have them long and pointed for similar reasons.

Yeah these drawings were meant to be picked over because they were done late at night with few guidelines. I'll do a few more the next chance I get and fuck around with the tails, the ears, and the fur length patterns.
