Apology for my tardiness!

Post by Saruna » Wed Sep 30, 2009 6:12 pm

Hey guys, I wanted to apologize for how longi ts been taking me to post (esp in Among the Graves). I've got this dragging court case with my landlord (he sued us for $9918 or so for various reasons I happen to disagree with back in June), that got postponed until next week. Oct 6, at 1 pm to be exact. I'm a bit of a stressed mess, and I keep dragging my feet with about everything. Once it's over (and I can stop worrying about what will happen and deal with whatever has happened, which I'm way better at -- the latter, I mean), I will get back to regular posting. IE, being the annoying brat who gets antsy when a post takes longer than a few days.

So until then please forgive me for taking so long with my posts. ><

I has <3s for you gais.

Don't worry about it Kat, you take as much time as you need to deal with the important things in life and we will still be here when you are back.

Also, I hope everything goes well for you and this whole court case gets dropped.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA, we got the number we wanted (for the replacement of the carpet: $3700, while a little high still I believe it was a fair judgement) and all the other crap he wanted to be paid for (such as, indeed, redoing everything, since he sold the place) he was FLAT OUT DENIED.

It was beautiful.

I was laughing a lot once he was out of earshot/visibility. We celebrated afterwards.

:D

That's still a lot of money to redo a carpet but it's good to see that you didn't have to pay fro everything else.

Sadly, that's about average for carpet up here, considering the quality of carpet he'd put in there in the first place. . . we went to Home Depot, Lowe's, and a few local places to get a better average; the total was $3300 (including install). So we weren't too far out the mark.
