No worries Garf - things haven't gone too far. Mercedes is sharing a bucket of chicken with Gizmo while Gelden and Melonius mud-wrestle and Aramyllis takes bets from the crowd. Yeah, no. Basically everyone's seen each other. Some have reacted better than others...feel free to join in the mayhem wherever you so choose!

As for moving on, it would be good to step up the pace a wee bit (a wee bit = everyone trying to stick a little more closely to the 3-5 days between posts bit), but at this point, I'd hate to just blow past Melonius because three people have just responded to his mere presence...and I'd hate to waste those reactions. It would also be difficult for him to re-integrate if he wanted to stick with the SL. Augh. This is why *I* don't run threads.

Perhaps let's just say we will be a little stickier about the 3-5 day rule and will skip people from now on? I don't know if that's a little harsh - please speak up folks and let me know if this is being unreasonable. When you think about it though, if there are five people in a thread (which there currently are) and we all take our 5 days to put a post up, then basically each person will post about once a month. Once a month. That's not so scary when you think about it that way. Also, if we waited, say two weeks between posts...it would be what, three months before the same person got to post again? I (regrettably) have a little more time than that on my hands and would definitely like to stick to something closer to the once a month business.

And this has been a really long post.

If the majority of people in the thread are fine with a faster pace, I say run with it. Unfortunately we'll just have to write Melonius out (perhaps Gizmo's blue awesomeness scared him away for no concievable reason!) but so it goes.

I hope he's ok :(

yeah, I'm not getting any response from the PM I sent. I say we skip him for now, there's not much else we can do. And I would love to pick up the pace a bit. Gizmo is not the sort of character one can afford to be out of practice with.

Alrighty then, so if we skip him, it is now Aramyllis' turn, yes?

Can I use, more commas?

Take it away, lady with the pretty rock name!

Oh yeah, that's me, right? Someone should poke me or yell at me or something to get my attention, otherwise sometimes I overlook these things. X.x

Anyway, I agree a faster pace would be great (this coming from one who couldn't post consistently not long ago). I'm just going to ignore Melonious' presence--or non-presence--for now, in case reappears and wants to continue (i.e. as I did).

Would anyone mind, if I dropped a Introduction post in for myself at the weekend? Just so I can get talking to others etc?

Sorry to interrupt such intimacy with something as mundane and off-topic as our thread  , but just wanted to apologize for totally assuming that Garfane is referring to Myllis as the 'pretty woman.' As ravishing as Merc surely is, playing it out this way just gave me more to respond to. Besides, I thought my post was pretty witty. *feeling very clever*

Garfane, is that alright with you? Or are you intent on hitting on Merc?

Oh, I figured he was hitting on Myllis - she's the only one standing, for starters. Plus...yeah, Merc's not looking so fabulous today. Even on an day where she doesn't feel like she's looking too terrible, I'm not sure how she'd respond to getting hit on at this moment in time. ;) He's all yours, girlfriend!
