Guys, as I normally do when I see the chance to vote, I vote. For us of course because I'm stubborn really, and I think we're the only good ones out there..... I could be wrong of course so here's some data for you to digest.
Now, first off, I voted on RPG HOST (A little link is now at the bottom of the index page), when I did so, rating Thar with a 5-Don't miss this site, I was pleased to find out that on RPG HOST we were THE top site! So first off CONGRATS! Either we're like the only ones to vote for our site, or we truly are the best. I think the latter.
Now for the... and I found this hilarious...RPG Gateway site. I voted ofcourse, it didn't give me a 1-5 option but that's okay, whatever ya know? Well I voted and then went back to the page and clicked view the top 100 without voting, clearly a different top 100 from RPG Host because we were 87. That's not the funny part though... the funny part was this.... please feel free to verify:

Top 1- ok ok its a star wars one.. there are alot of star wars fans so I'll give them that.
This is the funny part- Number 12 (Beat us by what? like 75?) Book Of Mormon Battles RPG- Play as the leader of the Nephites, Lamanites or Gadianton Robbers in the quest to save the Promised Land.
Its a MMO....for Mormons....and it beat our site. That's stupid. I've been baptized Mormon, so I can say its stupid... its stupid. I mean right now I'm reading this and Nephites, Lamanites and Gadianton Robbers is underlined in red by Firefox because they think I made a spelling error. How did a minority religion based MMO beat out Thar Shaddin. I personally want to call for a recount... ya know.. like Florida.
But hey, ya gotta check out that site... But make sure ya turn up the volume before hand, it has some background music and it sounds really awesome...but its a little low...

We're top on RPG host because a) it's not a very popular (or good) topsite list. And b) they reset their stats reguarly, which is why all the other sites have 0 votes.
RPG gateway does have a 1-5 rating. There is a dropdown box and you must select your rating before you click the vote button. You can't actually vote without choosing an option. I think you confused the two sites.
The gateway has been around for several years and ranks the sites based on both the votes and the number of times someone uses a link on their list to visit the site. This is the reason for certain sites being high on the list. They have been there for a long time, and have accumulated a lot of outbound traffic. I am not a fan of this system and it can be abused like any other.
A lot of the gateway participants are very aggressive with their voting because it's so well known. I think if everyone here voted whenever they remembered, we could climb to the top 10 in a few months.

You noticed it at about the same time I did. And I was wondering how long those links had been there, and whether I was an idiot for missing them.
But that is a hilarious story. I did basically the same thing but only looked at like the top few. I snickered at the "Stars Wars" thing being at the top. Pfft. They have nothing on us. Ditto with the Mormons.
