Tsk, climaxing your villains so early in your plot will leave you with little to work with later.

Which leads to the subject of Skippy's stinger. A subject I shall leave to your imagination.Frug wrote:Tsk, climaxing your villains so early in your plot will leave you with little to work with later.
Absolutely LOVE your recent Bela posts by the way! It, is, fantastic.

You know, I want to find the vampires all smexy and stuff, but for the life of me the complete inhuman-ness of them make them nothing but horrific.

Kudos to Lyl for her post introducing some nonhuman refugees to the compound. I particularly like the goblins and their Certificate of Good Conduct -- that totally cracked me up. Nicely done!

The goblins were thoroughly thoroughly cute. I want to pet them.
Also, Kudos to Xyon for his posts as Zebren, they are delightfully written and consistently interesting.

Thanks, guys. I'm glad you enjoyed them. And Rail, I doubt the goblins would object to being petted.
Speaking of cracking up, Sigvard had me laughing in your post, Jules. He always amuses me, but this one was particularly good. Good post all around, too.

I wanted to give Kudos to Mingaling for Pagusel's latest post (not that it's not the same quality she normally has in all of Pagusel's posts).
I love how languid and flowy the language is. Rolls off the tongue! (I'm one of those weird readers who likes reading things aloud).

One more kudos to Lyl, Uluki kicking ass was fun to read.
More seriously, I think people forget how much fighting she has actually done in her past, and it's good to show that she is not completely soft.

A belated kudos to Gizmo for his first post in "The Hunt". Often, with such a weird (and I mean that in a good way) idea, the actual character rarely lives up to the concept. But Gizmo does. I thought the post was intriguing, believable, and entertaining.
And a more timely kudos to Xyon for his most recent post in "The Hunt". I really liked it, especially the part where Xyon is getting all the flashes of insight before he passes out. Very poetic and...stately. Nicely done!

Thank you both. Although i would point out he hasn't passed out. What has actually happened may well be about to be irrelevant, too, but for your sensibilities, Daq, his eyes are fine and shall remain so whatever happens.
Or i could have zeb poke them out just to annoy you. ... Watch this space.

I would also like to throw some kudos Gizmo's way. As has been said, the character is fantastically novel, and his writing style and ability really makes it work. It's been a pleasure to write with him, for the short while that i have, and i truly hope the character is still active when i get back. And many more following... although phil may rip all his hair out if we get another Gizmo per se... All the more reason *ahem*
And to Theo. I am constantly impressed, entertained, amused and fascinated by your posts. I think your writing has improved since you've been here and again, it's been a pleasure writing with you. No it's not a farewell speech - that comes next week - but since i was posting here anyway i wanted to convey kudos.

I have to jump.

I want to give kudos to Karsimir for his most recent post in "Reclaiming". Aside from being too cute for words, the way he cares for the baby birds highlights one of the things I really like about the character -- his gentleness off the battlefield in no way contradicts his fierceness on it. Both things come together seamlessly in him. Nicely done!
