You know the drill, kids. Justify your existence: who are ya and who are your active characters. For added fun why not give us a quick description? Maybe even a little history? We need to clean up the applications and active characters a bit.

Myself:

Jenica Sabiny - vampire. Handle with care. Beware of teeth. Current status: PETA volunteer (totally batshit insane - I mean values animal life over human life).

Lanya Caliope - bard. Human. Powerful and Mighty. Why are you laughing? Had a recent run-in with the city guard that led to a forged trial. Current status: Socialist.

Geldenwing - faerie. ADHD; unable to focus. Flighty but cheerful. Current status: hippie.

Anga - god. Filled with hate and loathing. Loves slaughter in her honor. Unable to physically manifest and cannot possess. Current status: Republican.

[Lylessa Uluki]

Uluki - Healer. Helper of refugees. Duskling, which is a type of Fae-- with blue skin. Wants to take care of everyone and love the entire world. Wife of Rollick, mother of several, and friend of a lot. Good-natured and kind, fiercely loyal and unflaggingly determined, she's a person who will stick around through good or bad times.

Me - Newcomer, about to start his first story here. I have got quite a lot of roleplay experience from playing and moderating on other boards.


Morrigan - An old woman, able to shape into a young woman (Melpomene). Snibbish, cynical and an authentic lone wolf in her elder form; agile, quick of feet and energetic in her young form. She is a great herbalist, is addicted to youth and has episodes of dual personality.

[Devon]

Devon Akula-
Male, current heir to an ancestral blood pact made with a demon.
Becomes euphoric when he over uses his powers. Controls shadows to an extent, and the essence of burning. (For a visual think of what you see on a really hot day right above a car, just kind of a distortion of sight. hehe)
Recently found out about his powers by , ah well I dont know, burning his whole town to the ground, covered in a sightless, soundless shadow.

[Julen]

I can't believe that I only "play" one character. Somehow it seems like more than that...

Julen -- Human. Ex-farmer, reluctant illusionist, dedicated Lightsword. Current status: bleeding heart.

[Quinn]

I play one character who, in turn, plays quite a few characters herself.

Quinn - actor (more or less human). Confidence trickster, soundrel, rogue, spy, bounder, cad, imposter and general rapscallion. Current status: casting for an illusionist.

[Illilli]

Illilli- Human-dragon hybrid who tends to be too industrious for her own good.

Writer tend to encounter flurries of "Work" interupting posting...

[Win Sabre]

Win Sabre- chivalrous cowboy, ex-highwayman out of the Wild West genre. Cursed to shapeshift into a hawk every night. Hunts for food at this time so he rarely eats during the day. I hope to chronicle his evasion of the city guard (because he is an illegal shapeshifter) as well as his development into a sharpshootin' gunslinger.

P.S.: Thank you all for doing this. It makes a nice little thumb reference that is easier than sorting through all the character sheets...

[Kamar Deythal]

Kamar Deythal - Silent half-elven assassin. Likes anything that sharpens his skills, loves a challenge, and will do the most insane things to finish his job (like jumping off a 20 foot building to tackle someone). Can use a little magic to make his job easier, and uses shadow-jumping (see profile) to escape. May have failed in his current job of "Hunting Lanya", but thinks that the deal he made with the devil (read: Moryldar) will see her finished. Current status: Buddy-buddy with a rogue fox shifter.

Mavarion - Insane mage. Insane. Nearly 80 years old, but still spry and with it. Harbors great magic, but his stamina only lasts so long. Has actually made a deal with a devil. Current status: Pet owner/religious zealot.

Chezak D'Maroe - A new character. Full elven archer with a superiority complex. Despite that, still likes helping people. Current status: Interrogator of young women alone in desolate ruins.

[Ryalyn Kylana]

Ryalyn Kylana - Edelan hunter with her portentous and protective Vegra Ayden, emotion/personality/actions unpredictable, kinda shy of contact with others she doesn't know but a nice person and reliable once you know her, on the run from unknown enemies
current status: still active but on hiatus until I finish finals

Dureena Lavella - Human talent/ Elf halfbreed, intelligent and manipulative, vindictive, and likes to toy with people as she feels herself superior. Generally not a very nice person. Likes to cozy up to powerful people to learn their secrets while gathering followers through seduction.
current status: on leave in the Old Characters forum. I might be tempted to modify the profile and resubmit it when i have time if people are interested or just because. I read the profile today and remembered that it was kinda fun player her

Me: Ming Ming; fashion editor, assistant manager in charge of promoting racism, preppy liaison

Dorcas: 15-year-old scullery maid displaced from Britain with a lotta muscles and misplaced attitude problems; doesn't know the area or its customs very well

Pagusel: almost active middle-aged female human/cockroach shape shifter with neurotic disorders and drug dependencies; proponent of magic use

Me: Metarie Sehkhara, see character sheet for details, eh?

Must I? Oh alright.

Chrishton Radu: Mischevious, careless, tactless and utterly deceitful fox shifter with a convoluted history too long to explain. Originally my first character, he's changed a lot and has gradually become more of an entity for me than a solid persona.

Camulous Smitshon: Probably the opposite of Chrishton in every way. Brutally honest and hard working captain of the guard. He was originally a semi-NPC (hence his lack of a profile, which I should really write up) who I played so much that he became my main character.

Zhou Lei: I don't use him. he'll probably get tossed.

And then there are the semi-NPCs

Belatucadrus: The vampire who lives in Shim. He's complicated but I won't reveal his true nature here.

Brin Moryldar: The first of the judges I started writing with. Bitter, evil, but hopefully not 2-dimensional.

There's also the porter and Vincas.

[Drake]

Me-Bored geek musician that makes $8 an hour tearing computers apart with a hammer. Yeah, I break shit for a living, I think that alone qualifies me to remain.

Drake-My one and only character for the moment. A neurotic half-elf that prefers to stay unnoticed and doesn't mind using his illegal magical skills to do so. Really good at running away, being a skilled acrobat and all.For a visual, if you've seen the new 007, he can do that stuff the guy Bond was chasing at the beginning of the movie did. If you want to know more read one of the plots he's involved in.

[Gia Rilan]

Gia--currently in the company of Mavarion, having a few issues with 'that time of month.' Werewolf, often confused about what she should do but willing to follow pretty much anyone who is nice to her (i.e., not chasing her with a pitchfork). It's something about the dog in her.

Me--Tovia, bored teenager going to another country next year. I'm excited about that, but until then... boredom is the state of me.
