Name: Jaesin "Jae" Corliss, he has denounced his family name for protection.
Age: 20
Race: Human / Shifter
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 180 lbs
Power:
Jaesin holds the power to unite the different clans of shifters, if he wasnt in danger of dying because of it.
Jaesin's ability is to not only change into the animal of his own clan, but to absorb the "bloodlines" of other clans, such as werewolves. His family was used as mediators between the clans, but due to the neutrality of their nature, their side was soon chose for them. His clan soon became rogues of all the shifter community. Jaesin, is the only living survivor of his clan.
He currently holds only two animal forms, the fox which is his clan's bloodline; and the wolf, the bloodline of the clan who murdered his family. He can merge the form of his human self and that of one of the bloodlines as long as he holds the concentration to do so, such as the fangs and claws of the wolf, or the sneakiness of the fox.
Description:
As a human, Jae has light green eyes, shoulder-length black hair, with tanned skin. He keeps his appearance simple, to fly under the peering eye of those who would find him. There are only two distinguishing traits that he has. One is a trible tattoo on his left ankle It is a clan mark, and unfortaunately a mark that could prove fatal is the majority of the shifter's community knew about it, thankfully they dont. The second trait are his eyes, the green eyes of a young man who has seen death, eyes that hope for change and acceptance. Both of these traits he keeps in his animal forms.
Jae is no fan of technology and opts to keep his life simple without the prescence of electricity and gadgets. The soil and wilderness gives him all he needs. The only light ne needs is that of the moon and the sun. He only lives among other humans for the social aspect, in fear of becoming a lowly hermit living alone.
He enjoys swimming, and fishing. He despises hunting as a human, why hunt with weapons when he can hunt with his claws.
Posessions:
The clothes he wears are the only things he carries with him, aside from a small dagger he carries under his shirt at the base of his neck.
He doesnt have a job, though from time to time he acts as a scout or a tracker, using his keen senses to his advantage.
Weaknesses:
One of the curses of having the ability of changing to a different clan's form is that while in that form, he suffers the same weaknesses of the clan. While silver would kill him in his wolf form, it is harmless in his fox's. Though fire can undeniably kill them both.
He lives in constant fear of the law. He's afraid that if they found out about him, their would be more than some old shifter's after him.
He is unsure whether or not he thinks magic is okay. The only magic he controls is that of his bloodline.
He is most vulnerable in the mornings because he is exhausted and is recovering from the night before. He usually sleeps during this time.
He never uses his family name of "Corliss" in fear of being hunted again. He only goes by Jaesin or Jae. If the subject comes up about his family name, and there is no way around the subject, he lies.
History:
His clan was onced used as mediators or emissaries for the different families, tribes and clans of shifters. They used their ability of absorbing the "bloodlines" of other clans just by being around them, to put the clans at ease.
Unfortuanately, a rogue clan of werewolves thought that the Corliss clan was becoming too powerful with the political attributes their power granted them. The rogue clan thought that soon, their neutrality would end. So they started to hunt the Corliss clan.
They were a small clan with only about five families. And in one small raid, they were wiped out. Except for Jaesin who was 18 at the time who was out running the woods that night. A night that started out as an exhilirating run underneath the brightness of the moon, turned out to be the night he would mourn for the rest of his life.
He knows about the rogue werewolves and what they did. And though he is not an overly vengeful, he is somewhat untrusting of werewolves.

Re: Jaesin Corliss
From what I see, more thought needs to go into the character. At present, it looks like the basic skeleton or a framework to begin with..
Currently history is 'last survivor of a dying race.' On the subject, said race is exotic enough to need more explanation than a 'clan which absorbs other bloodlines'. How did it happen? How did it develop this ability? Most shifters learn magic gradually so why is this a standard feature for the bloodline? Etc Etc.
Consider what sort of person Jaesin is - he spent 18 years growing up before he became a fugitive. What happened to him in those 18 years? Any important lessons from his father? I imagine he was very close to his family, so try thinking about his relationships and bonds with them and how this affects him now. More than what he is (a multiple-animal-shifter), consider who he is as a person, or even life as a fox or wolf.
One problem with the powers is it leaves much unknown. How does he absorb a new bloodline? What must he do? How long does it take? What advantages does he gain in each form? Is his werewolf form a hairy man with fangs and a flat face (like most bad movies) or 9-foot killing machine with talons the size of daggers? We each have different ideas of what a werecreature should be like, so customise your own forms as part of the character.
Vulnerability to silver with werewolves is misleading - they tend to be nearly invulnerable to everything else. Does he have that same shifter-healing power? Best to mention either way because most readers expect werecreatures to have special protection.
Hope this all helps.

Why? Winston is cursed with spending all night flying around as a bird, what stops Jaesin sleeping normal hours? He is most vulnerable in the mornings because he is exhausted and is recovering from the night before. He usually sleeps during this time.
