Web Material on CD?

My kind-of-ex-girlfriend (relationship on hold, just friends for now) wants to read some of my work, but doesn't have internet access, so has asked me to make a CD for her with my writing on it. I am agreeing to this because it seems a possible ice-breaker as things are bloody awkward right now.

Most of my work is here, but the Play-By-Post structure does not favour Copy-paste onto Word (it would get confusing). So is there any way to save a thread or two onto CD without losing the basic structure - such as copying the relevent web-pages?

I am looking to use Musical Illusions & Family Affairs.

Mmm...

The new phpbb has a printer friendly option. It does that by using a mostly blank stylesheet to display the pages and spits them out like this:

If you need older posts they will be there http://www.tharshaddin.com/phpBB3 and the printer button is on the right near the top above the posts. I can re-mirror it for you to get newer posts, if that works for you. I don't know of any other way and I haven't seen a mod for it.

I just don't understand why nice girls aren't beating a path to your door. You're kind, intelligent, fit as hell (judging by all the physical activities you've mentioned participating in), and a real gentleman. If I wasn't old, married, and living on another continent, I'd snatch you up in a minute.

Because, to my knowledge, kind, intelligent, fit as hell real gentlemen are usually most appreciated by those women who are older, married or living on another continent.

I think I am 21 going on 30, so have little in common with women my own age.

Added to that, many of the 'damaged' girls see kind and supportive as someone to lean on (which is alright by itself, but leads to very one-sided relationships) while many of the dangerous girls see calm and reasonable and accomodating as someone they can control and manipulate.

And forgive me here but I need to say this, in part to help admit it to myself.

She threatened me with violence during work today.

Now I know she is physically unable to harm me, and even if she was armed I could safely disarm her without danger to either of us, but it still feels horrid being treated like that by someone you still have feelings for.

How long is the rest of your working time together? Because the smart move would be to either bring the exit deadline forward or leave now.

The longer this girl is permitted to treat you like this the more damage it is going to do to you. She may not be able to physically hurt you but she is clearly able to deal out masses of emotional and mental damage. You need to leave.

You have already suffered enough at the hands of:

1. This particular girl;
2. Insane women in general.

Knock it on the head before you yourself end up too damaged to function properly mate.

Wow. That sounded harsh. I make no apologies, though.

5 weeks.

2 of those weeks (the next 2, starting Monday) are individual work placements which mean she will not be able to do anything more to me. The matter has also been raised with my tutors/team-leaders, so they are going to say something on the matter and are actively looking for a chance to step in.

Leaving would mean leaving the course, and there is no way she gets to take that away from me. I am getting my qualification whether she likes it or not. Then I am joining the Royal Military Police.
