Two guys walk into a bar from http://www.tharshaddin.com/rp/viewtopic ... 0971#10971
Drake walked to the table he had been directed to and sat down. Cody looked a little funny in the cloak that Drake had "procured" for him, but at least its hood hid his features well. That was it's only purpose in the crowded room.
He was also wearing his hood, and had, upon realizing that it was very recognizable, tied his hair up inside the hood with a strip of cloth. Now the two friends sat hooded and cloaked in the rooms natural shadows in a tavern occupied by three people other than themselves and the staff. Drake felt a little foolish, but the caution was necessary.

Cody
Cody had accepted the cloak but felt rather odd in it. He had never been in one before and felt a bit cramped somehow inside of it. He continued to follow Drake, his head bowed down feeling edgey but not so much that he was shivering, just wanting to hide. Apparently he felt that somehow lowering his head would help to keep him from being noticed, it was illogical but he couldn't shake the notion.
Sitting down next to Drake he was willing to raise his head soon, he didn't appear thrilled with the situation. "Is this necessary? Really? It's...cramped. How can you wear these all the time?"

"Yes it's necessary. With that on, if one of these people is an informant, they can only say that two people came in wearing hoods. They can't say 'Yeah, we saw Drake and Cody at the inn." Drake smiled a bit at Cody's other comment. "Don't worry about it though, you'll get it off soon enough. We're just gonna eat and leave. There's not enough people here to find anything out."
Drake casually looked around the room. No one looked their way. No one was whispering to their neighbor. It was safe in here.

Cody
Cody didn't appear very happy about the situation, he was rather frustrated with the cloak having firmly decided he disliked it. He nodded however to Drake's comment accepting it. If it was safer to wear the cloak he imagined he should accept it as being worth while. The problem was he had to remind himself that Drake could not make do off of eating grass outside.
Cody almost wanted to leave, go on his own again as he could keep himself safe by not being in a city. Cody couldn't do it. He couldn't be certain he'd be safe, he'd only feel a little safer being in a terrain he knew how to handle better alone. Cody didn't particularly want to be alone either...well Drake was at least someone who would camp outside with him, he doubted he'd find many people willing to do that.
Cody's eyes shifted to the few people in the room, and by habit back towards the door. He sighed deeply and seemed to drain out some of the frustration he'd been holding onto.

The only barmaid still working walked over to their table and sat down two glasses of water and plates of a strange assortment of vegetables. He tasted the food. It was a bit bland but eatable. He ate fast, trying to get out of the inn as soon as possible.
The people in the room still weren't paying them an attention, but something was bothering Drake. He could feel the presence of foul magic. He couldn't tell where it came from, but he didn't like it.
"Can you feel that?" he asked Cody. "That weird feeling that makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck. That odd quality in the air that makes you feel like something bad is about to happen. Can you feel it Cody?"

Cody
Cody didn't seem to mind the bland tasting food. Food was almost always edible, almost...there were a few things he didn't like the taste of, on the top of that list was lemons.
Feel it? Cody raised his head up to the ceiling as if for looking for something to appear at any point. He didn't like the idea of missing out on anything, and couldn't help but feeling whatever it was he felt would be a lot easier to notice in his other form. He was being rather stubborn on that...oh well...stubborn probably wasn't that bad unless you tried to argue the point. "I don't think so...What is it?" He turned his head to look at each individual, then to take a good long look at the door. Subtlety was not Cody's strong point. "Should we leave? Maybe we should leave?"

"Yeah we should leave. I don't know what it is, but I don't like it." Drake stood and walked out the door.
