School is super!

Post by Dorcas Tansy » Wed Oct 19, 2005 1:09 am

Man, school is kicking my ASS this quarter! Damn! That and the fact that I kind of went to Japan for a week and kinda managed to screw myself over. So now I got the flu, which I am determined to grin and bear, because it's sort of ridiculous that I had to miss a day of classes after a week of missing them. Crazy professors.

Hope everyone else is doing alright. Things are slow on the board, for sure. I know how it goes, believe me. Still haven't even had time to settle into the new apartment unit! Oh my gosh, and we think maybe our carpet has FLEAS which is totally unacceptable in a nice building like this one.

So everyone, if you need a chance to vent about classes, work, fleas, please do so here. We are an understanding community. And very importantly, don't avoid the board if you are stressed out. I'm at least declaring this post to be a stress-free one.

Whooooo, life.

Don't avoid it if we're stressed out? Fine...

Yeah math is kicking my ass again, but mainly because I really don't want to do it at all. Which is a problem considering it's one of my minors. It has me mildly stressed, and working at the cafe is good therapy cause my co workers and my boss have turned out to be my new best friends. So mainly i've just been avoiding math, enjoying psychology, and working at the cafe dealing with all the weirdos and hot chicks it can throw at me.

(hot female comes to pay) "Hi, are you a student?" "no..." "say yes" "umm, yes?" "okay, that's 1.50..."

Something I absolutely won't do for male customers. Anyway.

Ming, what did I tell you about dragging fleas into the house?

Life is kind of dragging. And this place drives me a little bit insane everyday with how normal and shallow everything is, but I say that I'm alright ;0

Things get slow sometimes, you just need to figure out how to speed it back up again!

As for me, I'm finally starting to clear out all those summer cobwebs in my brain!! Makes me happy ^-^ Of course, getting a 100% grade on a Calc II quiz would do that to anyone

The one thing that bothers me here is that i have a cold, went to the doc to get meds, ran out, and STILL have my cold :( And what's worse is that its starting to get really cold (weather) here. *mutters* Stupid low tolerance to cold *sighs*

move to so cal! but the people here are known to be extraordinarily shallow and superficial. At any rate I miss snow myself, I haven't seen it fall since I was something like 10.

I completely WISH life were dragging right now! I hardly get time to catch my breath. It's pretty lame trying to catch up after a week of absence. One bonus is that money isn't a big issue in life lately, but that's kind of due to that fact that I have hardly had time for grocery shopping. Whoo!

I still don't have my own computer set up! Still trying to settle into the move. Lame, huh??

Yeah. I remember summer when I was so desperate for something to do that I was actually being creative. Now I just wish the work would stop.

That happened to me, too, Frug. This year is harder than the others. I can't be lazy and pass this year! (T_T)

In high school and in college both. I'm still slacking off in my sophomore year, which is not a good thing.
