Shadows of the Mind
Re: Shadows of the Mind
I made him like that because I knew, someday somewhere, it would inconvenience me. Anyways, do whatever you like in the next post. Tell has some half-assed plans in the making!
The same applies to you, Nav, up to and including waking Syrathan. If you think it's in character go for it. Tell will adapt to the situation.

I'm still here guys xD I'm just lurking
Would it make you feel better if I logged on chat more?
Time passes quickly, friend. One day you're 20 with all the hopes of a child, and then you blink and you're 220 years old, bitter and prone to pain. It is a long journey friend, but one that can be traveled within a heart beat.

Re: Shadows of the Mind
It would help me, personally...just to know you're around and posting or whatever at least. And for easy access to plot or whatever. Up to you though.
Imitation is suicide...
Re: Shadows of the Mind
Welp kiddo, in between working really messed up shifts, trying to get some personal crap sorted and other nonsense, I haven't got a lot of time. You can message me, or we can plot on the topic discussion pages if I'm not on when you desire me to be be. (Also if I sound snippy it's because I worked 4am to 4 pm, staring at circular car parts called stators for hairline cracks.. like I said, messed up shifts)
I promise, I'll response. I promise, I'm still around. And I can TRY my damndest to be on more, but no guarantees. Savvy?

You asked me
not the other way around. But understood.

Re: Shadows of the Mind
SO MATT thanks to Tell's Dream Shenanigans (tm) we're in a little bit of a pickle. Nav has said we can skip over Vanyusha to finish the dream up, OR if you don't feel like responding in-dream I can edit my post to have Tell give instructions and the rune circle right now and then have Vanyusha wake up Syrathan.
Or I guess Tell could epic fail this and Vanyusha could wake Syrathan up before Tell gets the message through. That is also an option.

Re: Shadows of the Mind
I like skipping to Tell to finish it up but it's up to you, it's technically your story arc atm

Re: Shadows of the Mind
What? Skipping to Tell was not an option, that would just be me posting twice in a row. That would be silly. It's either:
1) You post your reaction to your monster-father now and then I post Tell showing you the rune, finishing the dream. This would break posting order.
OR
2) I edit my existing post so that Tell shows the rune circle to Syrathan, and then Vanyusha posts, waking Syrathan before he reacts to monster-dad. As is the normal posting order.

Re: Shadows of the Mind
Alright, so now what's the plan? Vanyusha waking up Syrathan seems like a sort of pointless post to me, so should we have Syrathan wake up and go nuts to hasten this along? The sooner we can all post consistently again the better.

Re: Shadows of the Mind
Yeah. Like I told Colors last night, I had some IRL issues that perfectly coincided with me not being as busy anymore. Sorry all about my posting troubles lately. I will set aside time to post tonight.
As to direction, the dream is already collapsing so Syrathan might as well wake up in my next post. Assuming there's some plausible way he can find a tool to start making circles, I can end my post there. Unless Nav doesn't want to post Van quite yet and you don't want aTell post until Syr is done with the circle in which case Syr can just finish it in the next post and I can end it there.

Re: Shadows of the Mind
SO Nav, we were talking in chat the other night and first of all, we want a Vanyusha reaction shot to Syrathan grabbing the kid and making the circle.
Next of all, depending on what Vanyusha actually does this could vary, but is it okay if Syrathan shoves Vanyusha into the circle and Tell accidentally creates a puppet out of those monster things Van keeps in his torso?
