"N-no gnome. Iz don't like dem." Drayel grumbled hugging the table leg. "Zey're... too... gnomey.."

Pouting into the table leg Drayel turned his eyes on the waitress in the corner. It was the same one he ran into at the start of all this mess, her wide brown eyes staring at him in wonder and amusement. Meeting her eyes he gave her a crooked smile and she blushed before letting out a small giggle. Seeing it he chuckled shyly before a rude burp escaped him and he groaned.

"Ma belly says 'nooo more' but I dun wanna stop ma party!" Drayel whinned as he turned back to the blob of brown. (Yes he forgot that the table wasn't the dwarf). " What do I do dwarfy?"

By now, Allen was laughing so hard he was wondering if he was going to piss himself. This human was one of a kind - that was for sure.

" 'm over here, leggy!" Allen giggled, tugging at Drayel's pant leg. "And I say we go to my place and sleep this off... dunno where you live but m'place has beds. More than one. An' you can sleep off this booze-ness... drunk? I dunno...." He also burped.

"What'cha say?"

Drayel frowned when he felt something pat his leg. What the hell? He was hanging onto one of the dwarfs one of (strangly) four legs and something was touching him. Turning he looked over his shoulder at the dwarf.

Whaat? Drayel frowned as he slowly crawled in a cicle so he faced the dwarf with a confused frown. Why z' dere two?

Hearing the proposition to sleep Drayel immediately crawled closer and hugged the dwarf in a tight bear hug. He sneezed at the smell of sweat, paint and ale but he ignored it. The dwarf wanted to sleep and so did he. So, without another thought he let out a grunting yawn and drifted off to sleep with little concern about what was around him.

Allen was not, by any means, a huggy kind of guy. Sure, if the hugger is a tall, hot, female human, no big deal... but when this sweaty, male, drunk asshole hugged him... no no no no... Allen punched the guy square in the jaw and- no wait... arms are pinned, can't do that.

Growling in annoyance Allen managed to lightly bop his head against Drayel's own.

"Oi, leggy, m'not a fuckin' pillow! Giddoff me!"

Drayel let out a loud growl as he was felt a good wack on his jaw. Under normal situations he would have been just scowled but being drunk and not a morning person Drayel immediately went into drunk rage mode.

"Waz da 'ell was zat for dwarf?!" Drayel roared as he let go of the shorter man and glared. "I waz sleepin'!"

Scowling at the dwarf Drayel staggered to his feet and snarled. He hated being woken up. He hated all of it. That dwarf brought out his troublesome rage. Prepare for a beating dwarf.

"Yeah! ON ME!" Allen snarled back even as he, too got to his feet, slightly more steadily.

"Look Leggy, I may be short... and muscular... and manly as can be, but I AIN'T a SODDIN' PILLOW!" Allen barked, leering up (waaaaay up) at Drayel's pissed off face.

"I offered ye a bed but I didn't mean me!"

"Put up yer fists fat boy." Drayel snarled as he glared down at the dwarf. "I'mma going to show you....show you... show you what a trained gaurdsman can do!"

Throwing up his fists Drayel swayed as he tried to focus on the tilted man. How dare that bastard fight him! He was gonna smack him in the face with a table! He was gonna-

He wasn't hit. He never even swung a punch himself. He staggered suddenly into a barmaid (the same on he yelled at earlier) and seeing her blushing face he forgot about the dwarf. Slowly he gave her a shy grin and she smiled back. That is before he knocked her down, and started to nuzzle her as he yawned. Ingoring the embarrassed shrieks that erupted from the woman Drayel went to sleep with a pleasant (and almost perverted) smile on his face. He was happy.

Allen had put his fists up, preparing for a beating, when the human toppled over on Anna. He stared in shock even as the woman yelled at him to get the drunk off her. Allen shook his head, grinning.

"And how do you want me to do that, lovely? Leggy's almost twice my height, so I can't carry him-" Allen was broken off by the bar's owner coming over with a bucket of what Allen assumed was ice water.

"Uh.... Tha's not a good idea." Allen warned even as the barmaid braced herself. Ignoring the dwarf the barkeep dumped the ice water over the sleeping male and roared in his face: "Get the HELL off my daughter you sleezeball!"

Daughter, eh? This'd make things interesting...

Awoken again for the second time tonight Drayel felt his anger shake. He slowly looked up with a dark glare in his eyes, his face twitching as the stupid bastard got in his face and yelled. So the little fucker wanted to fight did he? Well fine then.

Drayel slowly rose from his place, his eyes locked onto the ground. He could see that stupid owner's cocky sneer as if he believed Drayel actually obeyed him. A sharp prode to his chest with a stubby finger nearly knocked him off balance but Drayel remained still.

Nobody saw him move yet in moments the situation had changed. The once snarling barman was suddenly frightened as he actually met the eyes with the intoxicated gaurdsman. A large hand snapped out and siezed the owner's throat with a vicious grip as he was heaved off the ground. His hazel eyes gone almost black in fury.

"I was sleeping." Drayel hissed as he rose the barman high above his head. He ignore the panicky red color that was spreading across the owner's face and simply held him there like it was nothing. "Would you like me to hit you with a bucket of icewater? Or perhaps you'd like to fight hmm? What do you say about that barman? Do you think you can fight off a gaurd? Hmm?"

Another squeeze and Drayel pulled him close so they were eye to eye. It was then that the other man realized how tall Drayel actually was. His feet dangled from the ground as Drayel spat in his face.

"Let's see you survive me." with that Drayel dropped the man and sneered. "Checkmate."

Allen was a man, men usually liked a nice little bout to prove their manliness. But this? This was unfair slaughter in Allen's opinion. The guy was like... maybe one and a half Allen's size - Drayel was twice his size - that meant there was still half of Allen to make up the difference, and really the dwarf didn't like this logic.

Men should fight on equal terms in height, stature, strength, etc... of course this didn't count when fighting him as he was the manliest of men and could likely take out Drayel with a single punch of his manly fist... on the other hand - said punch would likely land on the guy's groin and that was not acceptable. So instead...

"Look Leggy, I know we BOTH woke you up, and the the owner is VERY sorry." Allen told the pissed guard, even as he reached up and pushed on the small of his back, trying to steer him to the door.

"But that's no reason to kill the man when he smells of his own piss. Now let's go to my place, drink some more, and sleep it off, eh?"

Allen gave the owner the "shut up or you'll die" look as extra insurence as he fought to push the huge, pissed, drunk guard out the door and (hopefully) to his place.

Drayel staggered as he was pushed out of the bar and onto the street. Behind him the dwarf ushered him out with a couple of nasty looks towards the barman. Drayel didn't understand what was going on except the man he was trying to fight pissed himself and was currently hidden behind a locked door. Angry Drayel turned on the dwarf.

"Whaz you doing? Why we out here?" Drayel snapped glowering at the dwarf as he struggled to stay on his feet. "I don't like it here. It's too cold."

Drayel snorted as he teered on the spot, his normally sharp eyes fogged with confusion and alcohal. He frowned however when he realized how short the dwarf really was. He was half his height at best and almost face to face with his hip. Feeling rather awkward at the height difference Drayel forgot his anger from earlier and kneeled to look at the dwarf in the eye.

"You shouldn't get in the way of a fight little man. Dwarves may be known for their fighting and metal working, but it was stupid to have interfeered." Drayel grumbled. He glanced at the dwarf through his mop of hair with an almost thoughtful look. Slowly a grin cracked across his face and he chuckled lowly. "Then again, you did save his life when you've got less of a chance to survive then he did. Couragous little dwarf aren't you?"

Drayel patted the dwarfs shoulder and gave him an approving grin.

"With that sir Dwarf, I say this. Should you need help from a guardsman simply call for me. I will gladly go help a man as rightious as you." Drayel chuckled as he slowly got to his feet. Snorting in slight amusement at his own words Drayel stood with an almost proud look on his face. "Before that however I need to go home and sleep this off. I think I drank half my wieght in alchohal."

With that the gaurdsman turned and departed, leaving only a drunk dwarf behind him. This dwarf was one of the few who had his respect. He was also one of the few who actually survived a drinking contest with the usually grouchy gaurdsman. Not that anybody would know.

Allen watched the human leave, more baffled than anything. All he'd done was shoo Drayel so the sod could go sleep, and now the man respected him? Allen shook his head before roaring laughing. Humans, they were all such a odd bunch.

"Lemme know if ye ever want a drink, Leggy, you've got yerself a dwarven brother!" Pleased with himself for bestowing the honor on the man, Allen promptly went home and slept, dreaming of women, ale, and sharing such things with his new human friend.
