To clear up confusion: It was intended as metaphor, Julius obviously cannot eat souls. Ree has pm'd Bubbles about writing erotic scenes more gracefully. I am happy to say that there is nobody better qualified for this solemn duty.

What Ferric plans to do next is walk up to Ren, toss her the bag of bishani (after removing anything that might identify its source, of course), and ask her to tell him what she knows about Desorte. If it is convenient for your posts I can have him do that in his current post rather than his next one.
