Physical Description : To look at Shalyr you almost wouldn't believe he's an elf. He has handsome pointed features and sleek body that gives his race away. His skin is tinted lightly grey (due in fact that an elves evil actions will be reflected in there appearance), his hair is cut short to just beneath his ears but falls straight down and raven black. He's scrawny and probably would not last long in a physical fight. His eyes shine bloody red, but when enraged turn black.

Possesions : Simple cloth pants and a shirt, A hooded black cloak and expensive looking leather shoes that very much do not belong with the rest of his outfit. An elven shortsword of great quality, it glows when someone near the holder intends to do them harm.

Powers or Strengths :

Charisma : Shalyr is very charismatic, He prides himself on being able to charm people out of there money although he is not above just straight up stealing it.

Burglary :He is a skilled burglar and can usually enter and exit locked homes with ease.

Agility : Like most elves Shalyr is very nimble. He's able to leap from rooftop to rooftop and down from tall places without hurting himself.

Magic : His magic is limited but he still considers it an advantage due to his lack of skill with a weapon, he only knows destructive magic though limiting his abilities by far. He can summon a weak electricity to shoot bolts at his enemies like arrows, The shock is usually enough to incapacitate or knock his enemy unconcious but almost never enough to kill someone full grown. He can also conjur fire although he has no ability to aim it therefore it is useless as a weapon, he would more commonly use it to start a cooking fire in his camp.

Weaknesses :

Swordplay : His sword is stolen, and was only kept because it could warn him against danger. He is essentially useless with it other than waving it wildly at an attacker.

Weak : He is physically very weak. And can only fight to a very limited basic degree. He would lose a fight against someone with even a rudementary knowledge of combat.

Cowardice : Shalyr is a coward, and will avoid a fight at all costs. Even the threat of minor injury sends him running

Greed : Shalyr wants to be rich! But he doesn't want to work hard. His skills as a thief help me extensivly. He'll do anything for money anything for anything valueable of any time he basically cannot control himself and often finds himself in trouble with the law or running from angry victims, he can talk his way into there pockets but upon discovery of his theft he can almost never talk himself out.

History :

Shalyr was born Mosoror (elven for SpiritChild) on Darleone Island, and lived there for the first ninety years of his life. At 98 he is still a young elf. His parents were killed in a robbery when he was 12 (essentially an elven baby) and he was taken captive and sold as a slave to a dark mage. He helped the mage create enchanted weapons to sell and taught himself some magic by watching the mage work. At fifty-two he stole a sword that he still carries to this day from the Mages private armory and fled.

After that thievery became a way of life, since that was all he knew and he took great delight in robbing. At ninety-seven he stole a large cache of gold from an elven criminal but was discovered attempting to make his escape. He fled the island and certain death seeking refuge in Thar Shaddin.

Once he arrived (the eve of his ninety-eighth birthday) he headed straight for the city of Marn, a city where his thievery skills would no doubt help him to survive.

What Fruggles is trying to say is that we basically consider elves to to pointy-eared humans who live a little longer, they may be a little better at things like magic but for the most part they aren't all that much different. Like humans, their skin can change color from a sunburn, some sort of terrible illness, a total lack of sunlight or if they suffer a horrible burn or some kind of scaring. I don't see a problem with having a grayish tint to his skin color but it wouldn't be based off of lack of morals or life decisions. I would also say something similar for unnatural colored eyes.

I would say a lot of elves can't jump from rooftop to rooftop. Unless they are really close together, that's a pretty impressive feat.

Being able to knock a foe unconscious with magical arrows is impressive for someone not really trained in how to use magic. I would tone this down or include him training this ability until he was able to preform such an act.

98 isn't all that young for an elf. I would say that's the around the equivalent of being about a 40 year old human and most elves living off of the island only live to be around 100-150 years old.

I want to point out that Darleone Island is quite a journey from Thar Shaddin, surely he could do it in a few months but I would think that unless he had a specific reason for traveling to Marn that he would make other stops along the way.

I think this history is very brief, 98 years is longer than most humans will live and I would hope that he managed to accomplish more than this in so much time.
