Lightswords

In my current thread with Julen/Falcon, we are in the business of raising a small contingent of warriors. These brave men will form the Lightswords, a warband personally commanded by the paladin.

So what we need, are the warriors themselves. Good leadership, and good writing requires making the troops in the warband into minor characters. Which is where the extra ideas come in.

So far we have:

Front-line

Numidar the exotic warrior.

Sigvard the Northlander.

Darir the Dwarven Defender.

Thetta the Shield Maiden.

Gaelm the Axeman (unless operating catapults).

Support

Triarius the Imperial Officer.

Ranged

Warden the Wolfsbane.

Shock

Krarug the Weapon of Flesh.

-------------------------

Currently in need of more Front-line, Support and Ranged troops. Probably an extra two of each.

Julen is capable of Infantry, Support and Range. Aorle is capable of Infantry, Support and Shock (as cavalry).

Yar, you know I'm in. See post thread : "I R ONLINE!" for details of why.

I'll do whatever you want, and if Xyon won't fit in I'll make another character.

It's good to be me.

Welcome! It seems to me that Xyon will fit right into the Lightswords, and it will be fun to have another player in the thread.

Railtus -- I have a few ideas for Thetta, so I'm going to write up a NPC profile for her.

Also an NPC profile for a main fighter along the lines of what I suggested in the "Musical Illusions" discussion thread. Assuming that Xyon will be part of the front-line troops (seems like he would be) that gives us all five of our infantry.

Now all we need are two archers. Pity Aranel is still missing.

Hurrah! Social acceptance! *Calms down, pust serious face on (yes, I do have one, actually)*

People seem to go missing a lot here. Except me, who just lurks and posts maybe once a month, of course.

Welcome back mate!

Now that we are talking on MSN, this post is completely useless.

Other than that, we will still need 2 foot soldiers. Generally I try not to keep a PC tied to any one detatchment, that way there is more room for player freedom and thus fun.

Thank you Julen for covering two of the new recruits.

S'fine, I don't mind. Inohen and Xyon thirst for action.

Thank you, Shadow. It's good to be online again.

*cracks knuckles*

Lets get posting then!

If need be, I'm perfectly willing to NPC a couple soldiers, but nothing too strenuous as I'm jumping into half-complete plots and it's all I can do to stay abreast of what's happening now. Two, at the most, would be fine and totally practical. Honest.
