Anyway, there's lots of new movies out in theatres this summer. So what has everyone seen or want to see?

My sister made me go watch Herbie Fully Loaded with her and I have to admit it was pretty good. She liked the racing. I like how they tied it in with the original movies The Love Bug, etc. that I grew up with.

Personally, I really want to see Mr. & Mrs. Smith as well as the third Star Wars movie, though I hear that Star Wars is a tear jurker

I saw that, and I didn't cry but it was kinda sad. Not going to spoil it I suppose... I wanna see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The older one is the best, but with Depp it'll be cool too.

When I heard that people cried at Star Wars, I almost cried myself. How can acting like that, with such cheesy awful dialogue and shallow characters make people cry? Old yeller makes me cry, not star wars.

And ice, since you've been followin me for a while now and you know most of the people who mercilessly attack me because I'm just so very much better than them, I should fill you in on what Rose just did. She banned me from the Terre on ezboards! Can you believe that? Do you SEE how many stupid people I have had to deal with just so I can run a goddamn board?

And she accused me of stealing ideas and names from her, and wants me to change the name of marn and shim. It's a damn good thing she decided to come back and be an idiot after we already made the move. Imagine how much more shit there would be to deal with if she tried pulling this kind of junk while we were using the old board. It would have been SF/exodus all over again.

I would like to formally thank the hacker who hacked up ezboards for removing me from that place pre-emptively. Jesus.

Indeed! And she comes here and reads our stuff. She says she banned me because she got "grumpy" when she read about what I thought of the name Terre Haute. Good lord allmighty, is she stupid or what? I said I was never fond of Terre Haute because its the name of a real place and because it's french for no reason.

I know the board she so secretly uses and approached her there. She's doing a rather pathetic job of defending herself, and with her limited mental capacity I'm certain it's the best she's got. Do I sound like i'm bitter and overreacting and being a bit freaky? Perhaps that's because it's so IRRITATING to see ANOTHER person like this. I had a small (very small) amount of faith that Rose was a sensible person, who wouldn't abuse her ezop status the way Dhari abused hers and the way whatsherface from SF abused hers. Why, why do I get stuck with these people? Why couldn't God design a brain more inclined towards thinking and less inclined towards retardation?

Ugh. I'm sorry. There will be no politics on this board. While I run things, this board will be devoted to the game. Nobody will be banned without good warning or anything like that.

For people who used to use Terre Haute on ezboards, you might like to know that Rose is deleting your memberships and will probably be deleting your old posts. Nothing I can do, but if you want to complain to her you can email her or post a complaint on the board or whatever. Not that she'll listen. And it doesn't really matter unless you have something you need there.

She says we shouldn't care because we have a new board now. I care because she's being a bitch about it. Hey up yours Rose, I didn't do anything to you.

Im sorry, my curiosity was aroused by a random off hand comment from a friend and I've been wandering around looking at stuff (its late and I'm not tired) and really the whole thing makes me laugh endlessly. I mean, we all know Phil is the poster child for calmness and rationality. I don't think he's *ever* flown off the handle and exacerbated a simple situation into a massive problem, and he *always* works well with others. And I'm sure little things like changing Rose's ezboard title to 'beeatch' did nothing but endear him to her.

But, rest assured, with Phil in charge and sole uncontested ruler of the board, there will be absolutely no politics of any kind whatsoever.

Hey, kudos, I wasn't expecting you to work it out for another few months yet, like the last time.

And I don't actually use Shenanigans, in fact I tried registering an account there yesterday and haven't heard back yet, but the chain of events is pretty easy to construct based on the personalities of those involved. I imagine Rose comes back after her long hiatus to an abandoned board and decides, for whatever reason, to try and start it back up again on her own, since you've moved on to somewhere else and she's not eager to follow you. She reads this board, sees your distaste for the names and some of the theme elements she had originally devised, and decides that if you aren't using them, she'd like them back to rejuvenate the EZboard.

And then the fun begins, because I can easily see Philharmonic throwing a fit when she decides to move back into the *abandoned* board. And its not hard at all to picture Phil escalating the situation with his usual suave and tact until we go from a mainly 'grumpy' Rose to a Rose who de-ops Phil and bans him from the board (heh, someone *did* get banned from Terre after all. Phil. You know, I was once under threat of ban from Phil because I failed to show him the respect he was due as an admin and kept disagreeing with him. Delicious irony.)

My question here is, what the hell do you care about the old board anyways? You've moved to a new board, you had already changed the name, why would you care what Rose does with the old board or the name you discarded? Seems like a bit of a non-issue thats been blown completely out of proportion really.

And as for comparisons to Exodus and SF, Dhari ignored her player base and had a 'I'm in charge, I know best' attitude while the SF person abused her admin powers for the benefit of herself and a small clique. Neither of those situations (authoritarian admin/favoritism) apply to Rose. She's not even on the same board! Grow up already.

Oh great. I say just shut up everyone. I can't believe how you people act, or at least type, sometimes. I'm only 16 and I act more mature. Just let it go. People are different, and miscommunication escalates these sorts of things. Stop letting your feelings run rampant because no one wants to deal with it. I'm just saying that in general, for anyone who is reading it.

Rose owned Terre Haute at EZboards but she was gone the whole time, and if she wants to use it now that's fine. What we do here shouldn't be related to it at all, with a new, clean slate. So don't even talk about it here, ok?

The good thing about your posts, Rob, is that I'm not tempted to delete them.

It's interesting to watch you fill in the blanks of what happened with your assumptions. The place you go awry is in assuming that things escalated before she banned me. She banned me from the board without being in communication with me. That's, in fact, why things escalated. Because I was banned with no reason by a girl who hasn't been online in 6 months.

You're clever Rob. I'm sure now you understand much better. But don't reply please, you're not welcome on my board.

Back to movies. My parents heard the original broadcast of War of the Worlds and it's awesome they're making it into a movie. I wish I could hear the broadcast. It happened when they were kids, so you guys might not know of it. It was actually a radio show and some people thought it was news and ran off into bomb shelters and stuff it was so good XP That's pretty funny... I wanna go see it.
