Blacksmith-Joran Vondan

So here is my first try at a NPC. Anyone can use him in their posts. Please feel free to add to him, his wife, building, or anything else to build him up.
Character Name: Joran Vondan
Age: 48
Occupation: Blacksmith
Appearance: Joran is a large man (as befits a blacksmith) with a rapidly receding hairline. Massive shoulders and arms top an ample belly. He has thick, leathery skin from standing in front of raging furnaces, forges, and anvils all day. He typically wears some type of pants, boots, and a large leather apron to protect himself from the sparks that fly when he is working metal.
Joran and his wife, Cora, live next door to his shop on the outskirts of the industrial district. They are childless (not for lack of trying) and are always helping the street kids out with an extra meal or two. Joran can be gruff to outsiders, but is generally jovial and polite.
Although Joran can make weapons of all sorts he generally gets by on shoeing horses, making and repairing tools, and working on random commissions he occasionally gets from the Gnomes of Marn. He has no prejudices and doesn’t pry into what he is making for them; they appreciate that he doesn’t talk down to them, and in return he does quality work for them. The blacksmith has a full shop including all the tools necessary for work. They are a law-abiding family and will report suspicious activities or commissions to the guard.
