Profession: Morena has held many positions including mercenary, petty thief, nanny, tutor.

Appearance: At first glance, Morena may appear a bit plain. Upon deeper observation, she exudes a beauty that comes only with silent confidence. Curves, now riddled with scars of the past, are often masked by a sun bleached chemise and worn black leather tights. She often pulls the ensemble together with a deep red bodice. Once laced with pure golden strands, the bodice has long since been stripped of it’s former value, the story of which is better left for another day.

Weaknesses: She often has difficulty breathing, a case of asthma that has plagued her since she was a small child. She has often been noted to sneak a few herbs into her mouth which provides a quick remedy for her attacks – she attempts to hide this action from others as well. With the departure and long absence of her husband, Morena has, on many nights, taken comfort in a wine bottle. She now realizes that a dependency is being developed and she attempts to make a conscious effort not to take a sip of the evil nectar.

Demeanor: Generally a loner, it takes a strong personality to engage her interest. She can be quite shy around new people and is prone to deep blushing when one compliments her. Once engaged, Morena offers up a sharp wit and playfulness.

Main Field – Where as once she was a trained thief, Morena finds that her skills are no longer as sharp as they once were. Whether she can win or not, Morena draws upon her old skills and will attempt to defend herself at all costs. This is a skill that she wished she never let die and it is her hope to once again find a mentor to train with. Morena works to survive and survives to work.

Family: She knows nothing about her family but that her parents are dead, she knows of no living siblings.
Country: Unknown – she has spent her whole life traveling the lands.
Religion: None – Morena believes in herself.
HISTORY
Morena Niiclu - A name she knows not the origin of. As a young child, Morena was kidnapped from her parents by a band of thieves, one of many children that they gathered. The group would travel from town to town stealing food, clothing, artifacts, anything of value. This was the only "family" she had ever known. The years went by and she would often inquire about her parents only to be told that they sold her in exchange for measly bits of food. Giving up hope that she would ever know her true parents, she submitted herself to the life of the thieves. At 15, she became close with the leader's son. They spent most of their time together and soon Morena found that they were in love. It was Landri, who eventually told Morena that her parents had in fact been killed in the raid. Morena was devastated, yet she remained close to Landri. Then once again, at 17 she was left alone. Landri was killed. She no longer knew what life she was leading. Everyone she had loved had been taken away from her. And so, she ran. Taking Landri's cloak, dagger, and the few items she treasured she escaped into the night.
Finding herself in Drache, it was but a single night at the Inn, almost two years later, that turned everything around. A visitor from another land, one by the name of Breckt Al Anz convinced her to journey to the Empire. Upon setting foot on the Empire’s soil, she knew that she found a home… or had she? Several Months after becoming Mrs. Breckt Al Anz, a voyage was planned. This voyage was tragically interrupted when a violent storm sent the ship beneath the waves. Morena was found unconscious upon a desolate shore.
NOTES
Morena is a flexible character that I’ve been playing for years. I truly enjoy stretching her to her limits. I’m also extremely adaptable and I can take her pretty much anyway I want to with a fair amount of ease. Throughout the past 4 years she has been used extensively in several roleplays and is thus as real to me as anything…I think I can bring some good things to this group. Let me know if something doesn’t fit with the setting. After editing and re-editing to fit, I might have missed a few things.
