Thread starting date: 122 PW, Five days after the Gala bombing

Location: Residential District, for now

Summary: With the terrorism of Paragon growing more bold, the Loyalists need more eyes and ears. A new recruit has come from Shim to enter the main guard force, but the way he did it has interested a Loyalist sergeant. Ferric has been sent on a standard arrest, with strings pulled so that Dylan comes along. Ferric's real objective is to scout Dylan's potential as a far-future Loyalist.

Like so. Sorry for the wait. Now that we're off I'll post more frequently, hopefully within the standard 3 days.

Doesn't affect my post because it was just Dylan thinking it, but it sounded kind of like you assumed Ferric is a leader within the Loyalists? Because he is actually the lowest possible rank within the loyalist structure.

I did think that. Should I edit it out?

Yes, that would be for the best. While Ferric does technically outrank Dylan (Ferric is rank g5, while Dylan is probably g1) Ferric is not in a leadership position and will never get one because he is a foreigner. Nor is that the kind of rank difference that automatically obligates Dylan to do what he says, by the way. Ferric can't get him in trouble, at least not from that angle.

If you don't have something in mind as far as interacting with the NPCs in the immediate setting, I'd suggest skipping ahead to us leaving the house with Ratmei in tow, hands bound. Ferric's search isn't going to turn up anything, and you can auto him moving back into the room or out of the house if you'd like.
