Why the hell not. Get us thinking about our characters. If you have multiple characters feel free to use as many or few as you want.

What is your character's favorite possession and why?

What possession does your character find most useful?

What thing does your character want to own and why? Why doesn't he or she own it yet?

Is your character interested in the world of material goods (buying/stealing all the things) or not so much (living a life of poverty) ?

Does your character have a possession that is, in some way, bad for him or her?

Be as detailed or not as you'd like!

===Darrik===
What is your character's favourite possession and why?
Holsted's cleaver - when Darrik became a journeyman butcher, Holsted gave him this cleaver to commemorate the achievement. It's a reminder to Darrik that effort equals reward. Darrik carried on the tradition when his son Henrik became a journeyman.

What possession does your character find most useful?
Since joining the guard, Darrik has found his buckler to be the most useful part of his kit. Whether for its primary purpose of defence, or to let him apprehend a criminal without severe injury via the expedience of punching them in the face with it.

What thing does your character want to own and why? Why doesn't he or she own it yet?
Darrik wants to buy a proper house for Henrik, so that his grandchildren can grow up in a nicer part of town than he did. He hasn't been able to save up enough, yet, but in a few more years he should be able to.

Is your character interested in the world of material goods (buying/stealing all the things) or not so much (living a life of poverty) ?
Darrik's interest in money extends only as far as covering his basic needs and to help establish a better lifestyle for his son and (hopefully) grandchildren

Does your character have a possession that is, in some way, bad for him or her?
Darrik has a small locked jewellery box containing Hilde's wedding ring. The dwarf cannot let go of the memories, but it is not doing him anything good to have such a strong reminder so close to hand. Henrik at least, worried about his father's well-being, convinced Darrik to store it in their strongbox rather than keep it with him.

===Saguzar===
What is your character's favourite possession and why?
A simple pendant carved from bone engraved with a Gitano symbol of protection - it is the sole item which links Saguzar to her childhood, as it was carved by her mother while still alive. It, above all other mnemonic tricks, helps Saguzar disentangle herself from an assumed role and slip back into her core identity.

What possession does your character find most useful?
The very expensive sets of lockpicks she obtained through the Society of Negotiated Loyalties. Just in case, you know, she forgot her keys or something.

What thing does your character want to own and why? Why doesn't he or she own it yet?
Freedom from her current lifestyle. However, to escape the reach of the Society, she'd need to travel far beyond Eyropa... and for Saguzar that is too far out of her comfort zone.

Is your character interested in the world of material goods (buying/stealing all the things) or not so much (living a life of poverty) ?
Wealth, to Saguzar, is success. Wealth at the expense of other wealthy individuals is even more successful. It was that philosophy which got Saguzar entangled in the Society to start with. One reaps what one sows.

Does your character have a possession that is, in some way, bad for him or her?
Her contract, as a Caballero of the Society, forms an intangible prison which locks her into the lifestyle she lives now. A lifestyle where she can be any one of a hundred people, but cannot be her true self.

What is your character's favorite possession and why?

Rorgue owns nothing. Arusa likely changes her favourite possession every week. Nashandra has no attachment for material things.

Erryl likely has a few favourite books at home that he'd hate to lose, mostly non-fiction.

Remmeke has a family heirloom (a sword) he cares quite a lot about, though it's mostly because he feels guilty about his dad's death and the fate of their family. It may not be entirely accurate to call it his favourite.

Jeeko loves his card collection because it's something to be sentimental about and they serve as souvenirs for many of the places he's traveled. Everything else in his life is constantly changing, and he wouldn't want it to be any different, but he has a tiny bit of inner conflict about leaving everyone and everything he knows behind all the time.

What possession does your character find most useful?

Nashandra finds her battlemage gloves quite useful. People usually don't like to say no to those.

Is your character interested in the world of material goods (buying/stealing all the things) or not so much (living a life of poverty)?

Just Arusa. She'd buy everything pretty if she could.

Everyone else has more personal goals, seeking things like freedom, justice, adventure, or peace of mind.
