The Exercise Thread

Whether you're training for something like Corey or just trying to keep yourself from turning into a pile of muscleless goo like me, this thread is for you to post whatever exercise/work out you've done. Feel free to use it as a daily log to keep yourself accountable, or just to receive some gratification for your hard work.

Primarily me and Colors just needed an easy way to keep each other motivated to keep going and not skip days, since apparently it costs her a dollar per text to text me.

Feel free to post pictures or videos of any accomplishments!

Please don't argue about what types of workouts are shit or better or whatever -- take it to chat or pms. But DO use proper form, and DO push yourself.

I restarted my 30 day ab challenge today

So today I did 10 situps, 15 bicycle crunches and 30 squats.

Lets get awesome abs Kat so by the time bikini season comes around we can make all the boys drool ;)

Huh, I think I'm getting in on that!
I'm going to print myself out a calendar again and write down what I do each day - motivation!
Now I only need to stop eating sweet things.... ;)

binge/emotional eating on junky stuff is the woooorst. Stupid hormones! The worst part, though, is the day after when you feel like crap and regret everything.

I did about half the video thing today, it was actually a pretty pathetic performance. Tomorrow is my rest day but I'm going to go full steam Friday morning . . . so prepare for much whining! ;D

WORKOUT

10 sit ups, 15 V-up crunches and 30 squats

The squats felt a lot easier then yesterday but the crunches were horrible!

Woot, gogo! Squats are pretty much my favorite thing ever.

So I stayed up pretty late last night finishing a project; no exercise this morning. My plan is to go home, nap, and then do today's exercise.

Aaaand half the exercise today; flamed out. But I got my heartrate up, sweat quite a bit, and boosted my metabolism (...forgot to drink the protein drank, but whatever I had eggs and sausage, good enough) as I've been voraciously hungry all day (broccoli, pepper, avocado, oregano, parsely, feta, and garlic shrimp salad I've been nomming on).

WHERE ARE YOU AT, LADIES?

Finally started the abs thing yesterday - Thursday I got home far too late with an awfully full stomach (we made home-made sushi...) and Friday, I just felt like shit with a massive headache so didn't want to move.
Yesterday went rather well actually, with the crunches etc. Later today, I'll do the next set, and all through next week, since no Zumba, so no excuse not to do it ;)

Did my usual workout, no abs for me today as today was a core day -- had cramps by the end of it so there was my excuse to 'poor me' myself out of the last five minutes of the video. >>

I'm finding that I'm having a really hard time keeping my hydration up; I usually manage to drink the first liter of water, but I usually have at least half of the second still full by the end of the day. I'm pretty sure this is why I've been more prone to headaches lately, myself (not the crazy awful ones you guys get, just annoying hard-to-focus ones). If only water was yummier...

So I haven't worked out since my last post. I was busy planning my Christmas party, I have enough baking to give everyone diabetes!

But day 3 of abs training today

15 situps, 20 reverse crunches, and 35 squats

Stopped after 20 minutes again for me; the stomach/uterine cramps keep getting triggered. Booooo.

I actually finished yesterday's workout (admittedly with some breaks), but did not work out this morning. There was an earthquake at 2:30, and I just could not get back to sleep...wound up tossing and turning and hiding under the blankets until I absolutely had to get up (earthquakes at night do bad things to my mind). Sooo, I figure either I'll work out tonight or just trade rest day with tomorrow, and work out tomorrow morning. ASSUMING THERE ARE NO MORE EARTHQUAKES. Seriously, what is up with this year.

Decided to take a break the last two days, Friday because I just came home far too late to be bothered with exercise and Saturday because I just couldn't be bothered once I got home (not quite so late).
Going to pick it up again today - Day 7.

Oof, what a pain in the ass weekend! I did get to exercise Thursday, skipped Friday, did Saturday, skipped yesterday. I feel like I'm halfway sick, and with the last few days of cramming homework I'm opting for more sleep over exercise. . .sooo i skipped today too. Things should get much more regular once I finish finals.... then unless I'm sick I will have no excuses!
