by Gavruk Bazad
Name: Gavruk Bazad
Age: 21
Race: Manlion

Physical Description: There are many things that can be said when one sees a human or an elf. Such creatures are beautiful, and even though many believe they descended from apes, they are very much essentially different, almost opposite in fact. There are also many things that can be said when one sees a mighty lion. They obviously have powerful legs and strong jaws. Their whole countenance screams "I am the King of the Jungle!"

Imagine then, a man, like a human or an elf, with much the same intelligence as such races, but with the ferocity and power of a lion.

Gavruk is such a man, having a naturally thick and muscular body, a blonde-fur, and a beautiful mane, which in his case, is a tone of very dark brown!

Although, aside from the fur, the mane, the facial features, the fangs, and the natural love of raw meat, he is very much humanlike... Ape-like, even, but with very normal humanlike skeletal structure except for the four-fingered hands and four-toed feet. Yes, he does have claws, but he actually trims them as it gets in the way of most things. Aside from all that, the basic musculoskeletal structure is extremely human-like that just happens to be abnormally muscular.

Gavruk wears simple clothing and thinks the very thought of buying expensive clothes a complete waste of money. His pride is his dark mane, as is the pride of many others of his race...

To get an idea of his physique, imagine a person who's six feet tall and weighs-in at a muscular 250 pounds... That's exactly his height and weight.

Possessions: Gavruk simply does not understand the foolishness of living in so-called "civilization".

What a boring way to live, he often thinks. He can not comprehend how people of other races tolerate a life where food is served on a silver platter.

Food must be chased! he often thinks.

As a result of this anti-civilization personality, he leads a nomadic lifestyle, living in the jungles and forests of Thar Shaddin with his donkey and the stuff that he puts unto his donkey, such as dozens of pounds of jerked meat (for emergency purposes), extra clothing, water in waterskins (for emergency purposes. He drinks most of the time from many water sources, and has a strong immune system that bacteria can't really kill him), heavy purses of gold he looted from a poorly-defended merchant caravans (which he doesn't do often), and weapons crafted by humans (these tend to be heavy so he only carries two or three).

Powers or Strengths:

Sprinting

-His proud lion blood speaks through his ape-like legs. His legs are definitely powerful... The kind of power that should he be a weightlifter in the modern world, he'd squat 800 pounds for 5 reps! Due to this, his sprinting speed becomes insane! Almost 30 mph. He uses this to chase many prey.

Raw strength

-He's strong, plain and simple. His punches are hard, and when he bear-hugs you, you'll get squished like a half-empty toothpaste!

True carnivore

-Can eat raw meat without getting ill. He can even eat semi-rotting meat and get away with it.

Weaknesses and Flaws:

Terrible endurance

-He can do long-distance walking of up to three miles a day before getting exhausted. If he pushes it to four miles, he'll collapse. A healthy number is two miles of total walking. Also, between sprints (which he can do only three fast ones a day), he has to catch his breath for like 2 to 3 minutes. Naturally, even though he's ferocious and can defeat many opponents in a short amount of time, he better make that short amount of time count because once he's spent, he's spent...

Strictly carnivorous

-Suffers from indigestion should he eat fruits, vegetables, or other plant-based foods.

Arrogant

-He honestly believes that manlions are the greatest race in the world. This arrogance flows through his interactions with other sentient beings, making him repulsive (but not too often. It's not like he has zero social skills).

History: Gavruk Bazad has a proud, manlion history. He was born in a small tribe of twenty-one peoplelion that thrived in the prey-rich forests outside of the cities of Thar Shaddin. His and their lives was a simple one, at least by their race's standards... Simple life to them was basically stalk a deer, chase it, and eat it. There wasn't much anything to it. It truly was simple to them, even though in reality, they developed the complex art of hunting.

The typical personality of his race was that of someone who, like normal lions, was prone to lazing around, mating, hunting, and eating. They are a primal race, with fierceness, but no ambition.

This changed when Gavruk was born.

At an early age, Gavruk had shown an incredible interest in life outside of the forests. He often wondered what other sentient races did, what they ate, and what they did for fun. At first, his parents were worried, but quickly they accepted their son's enthusiasm for adventure.

"We truly were gifted with a unique manlion," said their tribe-elder. "The dangers outside of the jungle is great! Yet Gavruk aspires to venture forth! I say, let him do it! And let him spread the greatness of us that is peoplelion!"

With nothing but himself, Gavruk, at the age of sixteen, embarked on an adventure to discover what was outside of his jungle. Do people outside really eat... broccoli? he thought, quite disgusted.

As he ventured outside, he met a wandering human, by the name of Odil, who became fascinated by the articulate manlion. In exchange for intelligent conversation, he gave Gavruk a healthy, ten-year old donkey.

"Am I supposed to eat this?" he asked.

"No," said Odil. "It's something where you put stuff on and travel with. They don't get tired easily. Also, here's some money. You'll need it as you go into the cities... And buy some clothes. You look human enough to become offensive to others when naked..."

Gavruk learned many things in his travels, including the process of smoking meat, fancy human quirks such as their habits of using tiny-metallic pitchforks when eating, and buying women jewelries in order to mate with them. Even then, he never lost his identity as a proud manlion, and to this day, while wearing clothes that otherwise covered his genitals, still kept the tradition of hunting for food instead of trading money for vegetables.

Hi there! You seem to be the same person who called one of our moderators some not very nice names. If you would be so kind, I would like an explanation before we proceed with any formal reviews.
