Physical Description: 5' 9", tan skin, black hair, toned with medium build.
Possessions: None, except a shirt, jacket, pants, and boots, for the time being. He also has a special ring endowed with a magical property.
Powers or Strengths: John is an ex-military, special forces man. He is trained in hand-to-hand combat and a skilled tactician. He has knowledge of weapons and explosive devices. He also has a magical ring capable of transporting him to other realms of existence, but only in one-shot deals (once he goes, he cannot return).
Weaknesses and Flaws: Hardheaded and lonely. Anger can sometimes get the best of him and he will do things that he might regret later. Considering his background, this makes him more dangerous than he is already capable of being. He also is unfamiliar with Thar Shaddin and is a stranger in a strange land.
History: John has combat skills he puts to use in order to make a living as a bounty hunter and/or mercenary. He is also looking for a way back home that exists in another realm of Space and Time from which he came. In this realm, John came into possession of a magic ring capable of connecting to an ethereal realm where the owner of the ring would appear to John. The ring was given to him just before its owner died, in order for John to be later contacted from the dead. The owner had unresolved work which needed to be done and he intended for John to do it. But, before that could happen, a bomb had been planted on John's vehicle by a rival and when the bomb exploded, the magic was released from the ring. Confused, it shifts between realms looking for the one it had came from or the one its original owner resides in. John and the re-connected ring are its unwilling passengers. John will eventually discover the ring will bring him somewhere else, but not before he has to spend time here trying to fit in and make a living, to say nothing of his fruitless attempt to find a way to his true home. He arrives with nothing except his cloths and will do what he can to obtain what he needs and to survive.
