Mother----Amara Khaleh- A shapeshifter able to hold multiple animal forms.
Father----- Unknown but out there somewhere, her mother seems to think his name was Jaq, or maybe it was Pyrite?...
Brother---- Nico Khaleh- He was a street urchin adopted by Amara when she was in Shim, she brought him back to save him from starving. He is roughly four years younger than Sky.
Physical Description===
Sky is small, and sometimes has been mistaken to be much younger than she actually is. Her body type is petite and she is very fragile, this is due to her bones which are lighter than a normal because she is permanently shifted halfway into a falcon her bones are hollow. Also due to the shift with the bird she has wings that are constantly with her. The wings are large, giving her a wingspan of around 20 feet they are the same mixture of whites, creams, browns and black as a falcon.
Her hair also has taken on the snowy white color of a falcon’s breast and falls to the middle of her back. Her skin is pale, almost glowing in the night. Her eyes are a striking blue, like the sky in the summertime with no clouds in sight.
Despite being small she has a woman’s body. She tends to wear overly large clothing, attempting to hide her physique. She likes to wear cloaks, not realizing that it doesn't help her look any less off due to the large lumps on her back when she wears them, but she thinks it helps. It doesn't. She wears a knit hat, with her hair pulled into it.
Possessions===
* She wears her mother’s necklace, it is a simple piece of leather with a feather wrought in gold, the pendant is small, and fits inside Sky’s small palm.
* Sky keeps her wooden bow slung on her back along with a few wooden arrows that have her own feathers used in the fletchings.
* A cloth sack she keeps her food in and that doubles as a blanket.
Powers or Strengths===
Flying:
Sky has the ability to fly, she has been told by her mother how some people don't except things that are different, and people that are not human. Sky is afraid to fly, she thinks that she will be seen as a monster and be pitied. She struggles with the way she looks, to her the giant wings on her back are a sign of how, even with her own family, she could not fit in. Her mother is a powerful shapeshifter, able to take on any animal she chooses but Sky is stuck in the same form. If people were to find out about her deformity she believes they would stab her in the back and leave her to bleed out cold and alone. Sky can count the number of times she has flown on two hands.
Her flying ability is limited to the condition of her wings, if her muscles are to sore to lift her she won't be able to fly well. Her bones are hollow and pretty easily broken. She is lifted by her muscles and wings, not by any kind of magic.
Though Sky is rather clumsy in the air so far, she hasn't quite gotten used to flying. Here is some more detailed information involving speed and stamina. This is at the peak of her flying ability which she is far from achieving. She has only flown a couple of times.

Stamina: Currently she is limited to flights lasting about fifteen minutes, at her peak when her muscles are developed she could fly for the maximum of ten hours, but that is pushing herself to the point she would fall out of the sky.
Hunting, Tracking:
Growing up Sky's mother taught her how to plant a garden, when to plant what vegetables, and also what plants she could eat in the wild. Her mother also taught her how to hunt, and track. She was pulling a bow back when she was nine, and got good with it fast. Soon she was bringing home rabbits, and small birds. When the garden didn't grow well Sky would leave to go hunt. She learned how to track as well, her mother taught her how to run game trails and what animal had been in the area and roughly how long ago. Tracking came easily to Sky, unlike the magic her mother had tried to get her to harness.
**She may grow into her full ability as a falcon shifter later on
Weaknesses====
Her body is incredibly frail, because of her hollow bones. Although she has wings she could use she is constantly afraid someone will see her flying and figure out what she is.
When she covers her wings with a cloak it can make her look like a hunch back, and at first glance when she is clothed in her tattered garments she comes across as a deformed street rat and is often glared at like a hump is something that is contagious.
(also Personality): Sky is a wanderer, she enjoys seeing new landscapes and different people. Her feet are always telling her to move, that there is something better beyond the horizon just out of her reach if she could only travel a few more miles before daylight. She is quick to anger, and quick to run if she doesn't like a situation.
She fears commitment to anyone, because she is scared if she let someone see her for what she really is they would cast her away, like a broken doll that can no longer talk. She is often over whelmed by the sights and smells of large cities, she grew up knowing only her small cottage with her mother and brother.
Deep down she aches to be accepted, to be loved. Growing up she heard great tales of romance and chivalry, she wishes she could find her own story to fall into. She wants someone to tell her she's not a mistake, and she's not an abomination. She would give anything to just be normal, to be human. Sometimes she thinks of cutting her wings off, her mother even caught her once with feathers and blood on her hands holding a rusty knife. Her mother told her she was special, that she had been given a purpose somewhere. Sky just wants to be normal and for people to not stare at her whenever they lay eyes on her.
History====
Sky was born far away from crowds and out in the country, in a small cobblestone cottage. She is her mother’s only child by birth. Her mother, Amara, taught her about the world as she grew. She taught her how to live outside of the cities and not to rely on others. It was just Sky and her mother in the cottage, her father has never been in the picture. Sky asked about her father when she was smaller because in the books her mother read to her there was always a father, Amara said that her father had been a great man full of courage and strength but she would always cry as she said it. Deep down Sky knew something was wrong.
Her mother would occasionally make trips to Marn and bring back tools, rice, along with some things they couldn’t make themselves. One day her mother brought a young boy, she was 9 at the time and the small shabby looking boy was somewhere between 4 and 5. Her mother told her she had found him in Shim. The boy became her brother, he never spoke of his past not even his name. Amara gave him the name Nicholijah, Nico for short. Nico is human and Amara is a shapeshifter. Sky always thought she was a shapeshifter but she could never change forms, she was stuck looking mostly like a human but with gigantic wings on her back.
Amara taught Nico and Sky about the Astral Plane and the great war that took place so long ago. She also taught them her belief is coexistence between humans, magic, and other creatures. Amara warned of the people who didn’t agree with peace and would rather starve out magic than let it run freely. She believed that if two shapeshifters and a human could live together in peace everyone else could as well.
As she grew her mother taught her about weapons, warning her of the other things that live across the plains. She said there were monstrous creatures, ones that would drink the blood from your veins and even things that hunted anything that moved and ate it. Amara helped Sky carve her first bow, her mother had to travel for almost two weeks to obtain the correct wood. Sky had a knack for shooting her bow, her brother loved to watch her stop scrawny rabbits in their tracks. When Amara saw her skills with a bow she introduced her to the art of tracking, reading the signs of the land around you to find prey.
Sky never left her cottage except to hunt and gather some plants that grew nearby. She loved her family but she had to leave, she had to find out why she couldn't shift and who her father was. Sky left on the morning of her twentieth birthday, setting out with just the clothes on her back and knife on her ankle. Her soul had grown restless within the cottage, she hadn't realized how much she needed to find a place in the world till she stepped out the front door. Her heart raced for the first time in her life. She never knew how sleeping on the ground made your bones ache the next day till she left, but she can't look back. She will make her family proud and when she gets a home she will make sure they never have to want for anything.
Expectations for Character-====
I created a character that came from a nondescript area out in the middle of no where so I could see the towns and different cultures through a new character's eyes. I want to learn through my character as she learns. I made her into a wanderer so she can experience several places, and in turn I can learn about those places. She will make some mistakes, but through the mistakes will come strength.
I plan on her finding a place where she is happy, with friends and maybe a cute guy she likes. Later she will develop into her full power as a shapeshifter, which means she can loose the wings, but she has to accept herself before that can happen. I want her to experience the highs and lows of life in a crowded town.
After she accepts her struggle with shifting her character will have changed. She will no longer be a wanderer, she will have found her meaning and maybe someone that accepts her as she is. She will have changed from quiet and timid to outgoing and sure of herself.
I would like to bring her brother into the city later on, maybe as a low ranking guard. I would like to have him in the picture to help Sky out every now and than so he is there for her.
