Player Name: Pruney
Name: T'sun Karn
Age: 26
Race: Werefox
Height: 6'0
Weight: 62kg
Physical Description: He is a slender, but fit man. Wearing fine, fully black clothing with leather straps, quite the tight fit. It's clothing you would usually see on a rich citizen, though it has gathered its fair share of dirt and muck over the years. He has a hood hanging around the back of his neck, along with a necklace, glistening against his pale skin white skin.
He stands proud, often resting his hands by his sides, opening himself up for anything, quite a confident posture. His eyes dart around, even when directly speaking to someone, always aware of his surroundings, it can be taken as paranoid, to an extent.
He has clean, long black hair, which is usually tied in a ponytail at the back, rarely seen with it loose. His eyes are dark green and often reflect, much like a fox or cats at night, in certain light. His eyes usually give a discerning look, especially when meeting new people, not giving trust easily.
His lips are thin, often smirking ever so slightly, his prominent jawline enforcing it. His overall face shape is quite thin.
Possessions: T'sun carries a dagger wrapped against his right waist, it could be your average dagger other than some strange engraving on it. If it is a language, it is not common.
He also has ta necklace wrapped tightly around his neck, it seems to be made from some sort of rare material.
Finally he has a knapsack hanging around his left side, but what's inside?
Powers or Strengths: T'sun is a Werefox and so he can change into a form of a fox, more specifically, this.
He can shift freely from, human form to fox form, though he cannot morph into a half-form, either he is not able or he has not unlocked that ability yet. This would be a disadvantage during fights, though he still trusts his skills with a Dagger, when the time needs. During morphing there are no known side-effects, though after he changes back from his Fox form, back into a human, he can randomly get fatigued and has known to faint in the past, after pro-longed morphing.
Other than that, he is quite rogue-like and is very skilled at sneaking, more so in his Fox form. He also is skilled in combat with Daggers, but rarely uses them, rather using his wit to avoid fights than engaging in one. He is also faster, than stronger, but why do you need strength when you can use wit and speed to get away? or kill...
He is also very intelligent, knowing most from his books and private tutoring. Though he still has alot to learn of the outside world, mainly life skills, which you can't learn from a book.
Tsun is also a very good thief and liar, he has practiced over the years tricks of the trade, from other fellows doing the same thing. He has heard of a Thieves Guild in Thar but has never bothered to go any further, not willing to join up with anyone.
Out of his Fox form, he still possesses quite a few of the benefits, such as enhanced smell, night sight, greater hearing. You can notice these sometimes, such as his eyes glowing in light, his ears twitching oddly and his nose flexing quite alot when smelling something interesting.
Weaknesses: T'Sun is quite proud of himself so any intent to hurt his ego, would not be forgotten and he would somehow along the way try to exact revenge.
He also prefers to be alone most of the time, which in turn makes him unstable, especially at signs of friendship and such, the years of solitude have taken their toll. He has not had any friends since he was young and so he would be slightly inept at social interaction, still having to learn things a book can not teach. Though he would have learned alot more during his six years away from home, there's still alot he's not encountered, which normal people would. He would act strangely in certain situation, not knowing how to handle or cope with them, especially when meeting new people.
Tsun also hurt his left hand during his first Morph. This has no healed over time and so it is still quite limp, he has use of his left hand but it is very limited. Limited up to grabbing things, and with not much force, other than that he can't do much with it.
His extra senses can sometimes backfire in certain situations, such as his powerful nose, eyes and hearing. Anything too much for his senses can injure him and cause distress.
History: [/b
Ever since T'sun was a boy, he never knew his parents. He was adopted before he can even remember, growing up with a rich family in the City of Marn. He was raised like a 'normal' boy, the adoptive parents not knowing of his ability, only strange occurrences now and then, which the family brushed off and ignored. He had access to a vast library of knowledge at a young age and with nothing else to do, he simply read. Anything and everything that could crave his urge for knowledge.
Without his knowledge, the family really adopted him since they were infertile. They could not bare their own son. They needed someone to carry on the family heritage, the heirlooms, the land. So they adopted T'sun. To achieve this goal, he went through intense teaching, making sure he was able to function efficiently and keep the family running. To his parents, as much as they loved him, he was just someone to carry on their heritage.
He finished his families library by the time he was 8, already knowing more than a young boy should know, fiction and non-fiction. After all of this, he grew tired of his families home, he was never allowed out and was tutored from home. His life was filled with nothing, learning, eating, sleeping. He never knew what it was like to be a real kid, his parents sheltered him and were ashamed of him, only because he wasn't their blood. The parents, in this type of society were looked down upon for adopting a child from the local center, so they tried to keep him as unoticible as possible, leading to him not meeting many other people other than the parents and people who worked in the house.
The main reason Tsun never got to really leave the house due to his intense teachings, but also because his parents didn't want him mingling with the dirt down below, meaning the lower classes. Instead the only time he ever spoke with any other children were at formal dinners, where he could never really play but just sit and eat and spoke when spoken too. If he did get the chance to play with another child, the only thing he knew what to do was show them the library...
He learned alot confined in that house, from his tutoring, mainly things such as accounting, proper manners, high-level maths, English, Geography, an insane amount of things, to make sure he was smart and well equipped enough. Though from the house library, he learned of a wide range of things, such as information on Magic, various beasts, Werewolfs, Trolls, Kitsune... he soaked it all up like a sponge and was constantly looking for a new book.
On his tenth birthday his father gifted him a family heirloom, he called it the, 'Ouroboros'. The necklace was beautiful and shined in any light, the material it was made of was lightweight but it was tough, the father only knew it was only made from a rare material. A while after this he finally gained the courage to disobey his parents, who he loved dearly. For the first time, he snook out in the middle of the night and wandered around the town. He was astounded by how big the city was, how many different people there were, he only read about such things in books. What seemed trivial to anyone else was amazing to him, it's as if his books came to life. After a few hours of wandering around the town, his parents still unaware, thinking their innocent son is asleep, he gets caught by a town guard...
"Oi you, what are ya doin' out 'ere at this time." the guard proclaims in a thick accent.
T'Sun stuttered, not being in contact with anyone like this before, wondering what he was going to do, knowing he was in trouble. He simply stuttered as the guard shouted again,
"Are you fick or somethin' you twerp? Get home now or I'll put you in the stocks!" the guard shouted, cackling to himself as he finishes the sentence.
T'sun decided at this point to stop stuttering, instead nodding and began running like the wind, heading in the direction back home. He found his way back home quite easily, using his natural smelling abilities, which were normal to him.
Since then, he has been sneaking out of the house regularly, his parents still unaware. Along the way he met some other kids, around the same age. For the first time in his life, he had friends. They mocked him for his clothing and the way he spoke, since they were poor children but he soon started to fit in and they accepted him for who he was, the longer he spent with the other children, the more the parents were starting to notice.
They spoke to him in private and asked what had been going on, the random bits of dirt of his clothes, his tongue slipping out common words now and then. He denied anything and gave some very good excuses for anything his parents had concern for. Over the years, the same thing happened over and over and his parents knew nothing more than the odd concern and wonder. When he reached the age of 15, something happened.
It was a half moon on the night, the light glaring through the young boys window. He had read about Kitsune before in various books, though he would have never guessed, he was one of them...
In the middle of the night, he was getting ready to sneak out, when his body suddenly started to morph, it came to him as a shock as he slowly fell down, unable to move. His body warped and changed, slowly growing fur. T'sun couldn't do anything, he was unable to move and soon, the transformation took over his whole body. As the transformation finished, he fainted.
He soon awoke to a scream and loud footsteps, as his still dark green eyes opened, a towering figure stood above him. It was his father. He wondered what was going on at first, the previous event slowly returning to him, though suddenly, his father grabbed him by the scruff of his neck, opened the window and to the boys amazement, launched him out of the window, the screaming and shouting of the mother slowly fading away. T'sun was flowing with mixed feelings, slowly regaining his memory about the transformation but also wondering why his parents just flung him out of a window. Even though he was dazed, he landed to manage on his feet. All four feet.
Instinct and fear kicked in, the little fox bolting through the gardens and into a quiet, grassy part of it, hoping to hide. After a while as the adrenaline faded away, he noticed his right front leg was limp and he couldn't put it down, it was injured from the fall. T'sun decided to take a nap in the bushy grass and he did. He awoke late at night, still in his form and decided he would head back home. His window was still open from being thrown out, so he nimbly jumped up to it, using the buildings architecture to help him. He simply got into bed, pulled the cover over him with his mouth and fell asleep.
The next day he awoke to his mother and father standing over him, a bit smaller than they seemed the day before. His mother was crying and they both gave him a huge hug, the boy noticing he had turned back into himself. His right hand was limp, his parents asking him what happened to his hand, he of course figured out how he got it, but again, came up with a clever lie.
Since that day, he knew what he was, it was what he read about in his parents library, questions passed through his mind for years, "Are mother and father Kitsune too?", "Maybe they're not my real parents", "Who should I tell."
Though he not dare ask these questions, for he feared of the consequences.
He kept his secret well and learned to morph at will, he also developed a taste for meat over the years, taking his time to kill prey in the gardens. At the age of 20 he learned all he could from his current home and tutoring, and had also learned what he could in such a enclosed location about his werefox powers.
Knowing they wouldn't let him leave, he left a note and slipped off into the night, taking some money from his parents, promising to pay it back in the future. He had learned what he could confined in these walls, it was time for what was outside of them.
As he wandered alone in the city, he quickly stopped missing his parents, his old friends and instead focused on the future. What money his parents gave him, was quickly spent, most of the money went on books, which he quickly read and donated to people or buildings. He never learned any trade skills, so he couldn't get a job anywhere, he would refuse to shovel horse manure or anything that would lower his status, which was only known to himself. So instead, he turned to thieving.
He contemplated thieving for a while and convinced himself that it is not an act that would lower himself, that it was a courageous act that only the most skilled could accomplish. Thereon, he started stealing, he knew value when he saw it, growing up in a house of riches, he knew how to tell the fake from real. He never stole from the poor, mainly because they don't have anything worth stealing, but he also thought about his poor friends when he was young.
After years of stealing, learning and adventure, here we are at the grand age of 26.
