The Hollow Knight
Posted: Sat Aug 03, 2013 8:54 pm
Name- Unknown
Age- 24
Race- Human
Physical Description- Being clad entirely in knight's armor, the Knight never actually shows his face, or any part of his body, for that matter. Nevertheless, he is described as being a tall, muscular man, capable of taking on a bull toe-to-toe. His speed and endurance are naturally high, and he is resistant to most forms of direct weapon attack, even more so with his armor. His greatest weakness, however, is his inability to swim; his body mass and his sheer size make him virtually incapable of swimming. He is also a silent protagonist; he rarely ever speaks, and when he does, it is mostly in indiscernible grumbles, moans, and raging growls.
Possessions-
One-handed longsword given to him by his late grandfather
Satchel for carrying various items
Shield forged by his late grandfather
Red-cross Templar armor set (wears)
Skills/Abilities-
Proficiency in sword-combat and shield deflection
Master of a few small-scale elemental magic spells
Survival skills and knowledge of a few places in and around Thar Shaddin
Able to resist most attacks from weapons due to his bulky build
Spells Known-
Fireball
Flamethrower
Heal- Recovers 20HP
Sword Enchant- Flaming Sword
Weakness(es)-
Unable to swim
Sheer size makes him slower and less agile than most
Cannot resist magic spells as well as weapon-based attacks
Cannot specialize in magic as well as swords
Fear renders him unable to show his face or body
Backstory- Born in a small farm plot in Shim, the Knight was the son of two wealthy-ish personalities within the town; Letholdus and Marianna Knight. He was born with numerous scars on his body, rendering him hideously outcast from the rest of the family. Letholdus, feeling shame in having a defected son, gave the boy away to his grandfather Oren, who lived nearly two miles outside of Shim. The boy would grow into a fine young man, always wearing a heavy coat of armor and warrior-like clothing to mask his true self. Oren, continuously growing older and more frail, wished for the boy to do one thing; keep the Knight family name in high honor. Oren soon died, and the boy, now a man, was left with the estate. Not wanting to return to the bitter past he had, he sought for a new meaning in life, venturing out into the world in search for an adventure that would leave his name in legends, as well as his family's.
